Okay, excellent.

Then we will need a write up. A well articulated writeup centred around the discoveries on this thread.

After the writeup is ready there'll be need for dissemination.

What do you think?
On point. A good writer is needed. It would have been Alex.Bells but I doubt if the dude would like to help considering his philosophy on Igbo integrity.

Dry up your tears. I guess when ibos came, they forgot their clothes and culture attire in amaigbo and were forced to make do of foreign attire.

We are still waiting when the royal palace in Bonny and Opobo will start wearing isiagu. Abi e never due to dey wear ibo isiagu and throw away Ijaw identity?

The Akwette King Jaja wears 24/7 is Igbo cloth. Same with the cap. He even walks around with an Ofo in his hand like a real Igbo Priest-King. Lol.

Yes I am following the thread and you guys are doing great work here.I'm happy that ohanaeze has recognized indigenous Igbo in Benue state, the next step maybe our people in kogi state. I'm planning of gathering all these documents here and send it to the Ohaneze youth president let me see what he can do.

They have used the current Nigerian Niger Delta map to override it in Google search engine but some of us still have it.

It will take me time to go through my old hard drives and get it.

I still remember that Bonny and Opobo were not included in his map. The map was more like present Bayelsa state and a very little part of Delta and inch of Rivers.

Exactly, those are the salient facts we need to point out. They are claiming Niger Delta now to confuse more gullible people.

We need to bring out and promote Boro's original map.

Lolllllll.

Ị can write anything writable. I'll just gather the facts presented here and compile all. Igboid can write it if he wishes. I don't think there'll be any Biafranist clash here lol. It's just a historical writeup.

Then will the volunteer be writing as a group or as an individual. If as a group what group. Igwebuike? Igbo youths intelligentsia? Igbo new generation?

Whatever will be written will have to be vetted here.

Then afterwards, very importantly, how will dissemination be done?

Trust our Igbo youths, if it's catchy enough, it will be on every Whatsapp mass messages and groups.

The audience must be considered, the language broken down and understanding simple.

Evidence must be laid down too... these snippets/evidence I see around these threads will be important.

lol, confusion in the camp of drug dealing land grabbers.
do you know how many Eze'ndigbo they have all over Nigeria?
eze'ndigbo Lagos, Eze'ndigbo ogun, Eze'ndigbo Ondo.
The igbos are known travelers, entering everywhere uninvited.
they wanted to do that at cross river (Eze'ndigbo of Cross river) the cross river traditional rulers agressively halted it.
if care is not taken, 9pluto, Ekealterego, Igboid, Bkayy, SlayerForever of the future in 400 years time will claim the igbos owned those states.

igbos who don't have affinity to water, who dread the swamp and mangroves now suddenly claiming to be Water people.
Father lord!
Igbos who were slaves in Bonny just as pepple and crowther said.
igbos who were given freedom by Asimini because they showed they aided him in war.

funny enough, land grabbing clowns never want to talk about the ijoh enculturating ritual. (I will write a thread about THE ENCULTURATING RITUAL) where certain rites and spiritual practices are carried out before the spirits to change a person's ancestral identity.
if ijohs weren't the land lord, why were igbos enculturated
Ekealterego, 9pluto etc answer.

why were there enculturating rituals performed on Igbo slaves??
infact the igbos should stop seeing Jaja as Igbo anymore, he swore before the spirits, cleansed his blood, renounce his ancestry and tribe, even his name to be JUBO JUBOGHA.
that alone is big prove that the ijos were the owners, lord and master of the Igbos, and bonny.

captain8 Putindbutt ditaridesciple2
how about we think of names to rename our slaves?

I earlier renamed Ekealterego OTONYE DOMOKUMA
9pluto, SlayerForever Igboid biafrarep bkayy needs to be renamed ASAP.
we need to enculturate them like our ancestors did.

But Equiano noted that cocoayam was EDEA (EDE) in his native language and that his dad was an EMBRENCHE (MGBURU-ICHI). This clearly meant he was Igbo

Even his names are Igbo. Olauda Equiano is actually Ola-Uda Ekwu-Anu which by interpretation means Sounding Ornament or special ornament (Olauda) Speaking and Hearing (Ekwu Anu). Moreover, his book described a culture that could only be Igbo. From diabias (medicine men) to Akwete cloth to the traditional neatness of the Igbo people.

This is so important. I am of the opinion that every Igbo person who has seen this post and its truth should as a matter of importance start making contact by joining some of these Opobo and Bonny Facebook groups and start working on nullifying the evil seeds Ijaw people are planting in their minds. From the evidence that we have seen from this post, we may have to even start working on Brass groups too. It is evident that what the Ijaws are to southern Nigeria is what the Fulanis are to the north - bandit tribes that have been displacing peace-living aborigines. I also suggest that we Ndigbo start mapping out some practical ways of fully reconnecting with these our kith and kin in the coast and other peripheral areas. Even if it requires funding, I am prepared to make a donation for those willing to visit Opobo and Bonny if there is a concrete plan of action on ground.

All Ibo frustrations here does not change anything physical.
All Ibani-Ijaw people (Bonny, Ndoki, Opobo) come with their Ijaw relations to Ijaw Republic.
We've accepted the request of the Aminadokiari (Ndoki) Ijaw leaders to be added to Ijaw Republic.
The new Ijaw Central dialect being worked on in preparation for Ijaw Republic.
Will end that nonesense Igbo speaking in all these areas.
So you need a central dialect to end indigenous languages such as Igbo? It is interesting that I served in Kalabari and from what I observed, they are not even Ijaw despite your claims. So who are you guys? Who is Ijaw if you're co-opting every ethnic group into your tribe?

Please, stop wasting time and energy on that guy. His plans are obvious. This thread isn't about Equiano(The same one whose Breeche background connected to my post here). This is about Bonny and Opobo. I am shocked that till this moment I haven't seen one single counter literature, just ONE. If anything this thread has shown that there is an obvious attempt at revisionism and it is extending to Obollo. Akwa-ibom people should be put on notice. They better stay woke. Already, my Akwa-ibom friend said there are parts of the coast they cannot access currently because of the ijaws. Someone should put the government on notice.
Can someone post AkwaIbom Facebook groups so that we put them at alert on the antecedence of this tribe of pirates and land grabbers?

There are enough proof to show that Wa-Creek people, have sections of them from Igbo.

However, we can only identify you as Igbo strictly if you speak Igbo....

BUUUTTTT, it is important to point out ancestory and links too.

I even saw the historical proof uploaded here on this thread....

I provided you an oral account of a son of the soil ( I have an  audio evidence of our dialogue) . An indigine, a nobleman from the famous Wiwa family of the so called "Ogoni" decent as passed down to him by his ancestors. He specifically and cartigorically told me he is an Igbo man.  I don't know what further proof you need?

This individual sees himself an Igbo man from Eleme and according to him, there are no differences between Ogoni, Eleme or Wakrike.

He's from the same royal family as the famous Ken Saro Wiwa. Does it not raise a flag when outsiders identifies  Ken Saro Wiwa as someone from Ogoni whereas he gave contrary account that the Saro Wiwa family - which himself hail from - is from Eleme.

A watchful and decerning mind should be able to draw conclusion by identifying common name patterns such as (N)Wike, N(Wiwa), N(Wogu) in the areas under consideration as compared to common names such as N(Wabara) N(Wachukwu) , (N)Wike, (N)Worgu, (N)Wiwa borne by their closest neighbors. The Ngwa's and Ikwerri's etc.

It's also worthy of note that you cannot rule out the influx of minimal ibibio-efik cultures in these border communities just like the case of the Aro's, Ohafia and other border territories.

No, Isseke in Ihiala LGA of Anambra state.
The only part that is off from History is the Bini part
It is possible that Olauda Ekwuanu got the Benin idea after years of perusing maps of Africa in England or even while serving in a merchant ship. Possibly, the Benin empire was at its peak and he used his knowledge of geography to link his homeland as being close to the burgeoning empire of the Binis.

i was in an opobo group yesterday(proudly opobo),when an opobo indegene raised the igbo identity question, and the response from the others were very encouraging and impressive, trust me,the ijaws are clutching at straws here.if we igbos can just take all these evidences here to them, and try to reconnect that lost brotherhood with them,it is very likely a whole lot more of them would be more ascertive of the igbo tag,i know the kind of war that usually break out anytime igbo issues are raised in ikwerre and ika groups, but apart from the few ijaw miscrants from bayelsa state,a lot of opobians(from what i have seen on their fb pages)have no problems with igbos and their igbo origins.
