Once you pay your tuition, you admission is valid till your resumption date. PPR has to come before the resumption date

Choose a country that isn't currently listed in the travel restriction, preferably one that has a vaccination plan in place and is actively addressing the COVID-19 problem in their country. I say the later because other countries could still be added to the ban list, and you don't want to be in a situation where you book flights, incur fees, and then discover that the third country has been prohibited at the last minute.
In my case, I'll be flying via a Schengen state in two weeks (God's grace).

Other routes being explored, including Ghana, Mexico, and maybe Coutonu. According to what I've read on this platform, you might be able to pass through Mexico using the Canadian Visa granted to students (please verify this). Spend at least 14 days in the third Country , being sure to follow all of their safety requirements before moving on to Canada. At least 72 hours before flying to Canada, another depature Covid test will be required.

It's a costly method, but it may be the only viable one right now.

My advice to anyone who can afford to wait till January is to wait. I feel the ban would soon be lifted. UK just removed all countries from the red list. Canada has no justification to still restrict travellers while allowing flights from UK when in fact the UK says about 200k omicron cases already. Coupled with the fact that Omicron is a mild variant. Let’s just wait and see till January

If your application is passed the processing time, you will need to start sending IRCC daily emails with your subject tagged urgent..

Let them know your resumption is less than 4 weeks and you need a final decision so you can start preparing yourself....

Make sure you are polite and straightforward with your message..

This is not totally true though, there are many applicants on this thread who have not come to share their testimonies here, probably applicants that are in one WhatsApp group or the other.... They actually share their testimonies in their various groups and not on the thread that actually gave them so much information and also birthed their several WhatsApp groups...

So we actually have more PPRs, just that some people are hoarding their Good news from this thread which I see as an ungrateful attitude...

I discovered just 2 approvals and 1 rejection since December 8 which is far from the usual figures b4 the traveling ban on Nigeria.

1) Admission success rate is dependent on if you meet the school's admission requirements. Meaning your transcript and cv should show you have had educational background and work experience in the intended course.
2) Admission for colleges takes 2-3months max
3) Obviously transcript is required
4) 8m or more is enough to cover for living expense.

2. You can check IRCC updated data on their page. Last I checked was 13 weeks but it can be more.
It’s advisable to apply 6months before your program.

4. 8million is definitely Okay after completion of 1 year tuition fee. Provided that there’s no lump sum with the 8million. If there exist, there must be a clear justification which must be explained and proved.
Also ensure that source of income is provided to back up the 8million if it’s self funding…

Thanks for your feedback, I studied economics education but am presently working as a risk management officer (for 4yrs now) while the course I intend to study at NBCC has Risk management course in of the program course, so I want to step on that and use it to defend myself why I choose the program.

In a situation where the money is coming from your different account into a single account, will that be flagged as “lump sum” deposit as well? Or maybe the money was in a fixed account.

Just do well to explain the movement in your SOP and show evidence to back the fix deposit liquidation…

Did you explain how your source of funds on your SOP with evidence like receipts or evidence of contracts carried out?
