Please can someone get a Canadian visa with 8 months graduate program certificate

8 months course is regarded as 1 year course and as such requires a visa. So long as the course is more than 6 months, you will need a study permit. Yes 1 year course gets visa. So many applicants here going for a year course have secured their Visas and are currently in Canada studying.

But preferably, look for 2year course to be entitled to 2-3years post graduate working permit, as 1year course gives a year PGWP. That's if your plan is PR. Is your choice though.

Hi Everyone,

Please I have a few questions for those that have travelled recently.
1. The quarantine plan - can it be a friend's place or must it necessarily be hotel/airbnb
2. Are we mandated to be there for 14 days?
3. Are there airbnb/hotels one can bok then cancel on arrival if quarantine isn't required?

Thanks

Did you order the GCMS note to get clarity into the reasons for the first rejection?

If you did, what was the reason detailed in the note for the refusal based on the purpose of visit?

Hello Kokolanre

Your deadline is on Monday and you are just reporting this here on the last working day before your deadline and my reply coming on a Saturday..

Polaris does not have a good record of processing fees on time to schools abroad, Stanbic IBTC is one bank I always recommend to applicants because of their fast processing that gets results in days and at most in a week or 2.. If you had mentioned this much earlier, you would have gotten it done with Stanbic IBTC...

At this point, you can try using FLYWIRE or any online payment solution... Another option is liaising with a Nigerian in Canada that you know and trust, who can pay the fees for you in CAD and you transferring Naira to him/her or anyhow the said person would prefer how the transaction will be..

Peace

Hello Kokolanre123,

What you could do now is to write the school for an extension grace. Attach evidence of the ongoing fee payment processing from the bank. Tell them the targeted date of finalization the bank gave and ensure you use soothing words.

Most times, schools respond positively to this kind of request. You can send the email twice. One today and the other on Monday by 3 PM Nigerian time.

Direct your email to the finance, admissions, international office, and/or program coordinator. If the school is on the PayMyTuition platform, you may want to consider using the option. They give a rate of CAD 476 or CAD 483 at high.

Best of Luck

Hi guys, second time applicant here. In my first application, my dad was my sponsor and I used his account statements. I was rejected due to lumpsum deposits and possible demonstration of funds. Please I want to reapply and I don’t know how to tackle these reasons because my dad is genuinely my sponsor. I’m also considering telling him to transfer the money into my own account? Please I need help.

I received my stamped passport today, God will make everyone on this platform feel this joy that comes with approval, IJN. Amen.
On the other hand I actually have an issue and I would really appreciate any suggestion or insight that can be useful to me. So I applied with my winter 2022 admission letter for my 2nd application which was successful but the school deferred the admission to September 2022 because I notified them of the first refusal and the LOA for September 2022 didn’t come out before my visa was approved, so I wasn’t able to upload it . My course is a one year course and the validity of my letter of introduction ends August 20th 2022 and school starts September 2022, when I notified the school they said I should travel before the validity ends and carry the old and new LOA so I can explain at the POE so that the permit can be extended.
Any other insights please?

Hello Flow

Find below the emails addresses of IRCC Offices and also the Webform for Nairobi office..

Send at least 5 mails everyday to this Offices, do not copy any office when sending the mail, send individually to each Office...

NAIROBI WEBFORM

NAIROBI
nrobi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca
nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca

LAGOS

lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca

LONDON

london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

ACCRA

Find below the Link to get the Members of Parliament (MP) in the province your school is located in Canada..

https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en/search?caucusId=all&province=ON&gender=all

You may have many MPs in your province, so you will need to randomly Choose the MPs you want, and if you can send a message to all the MPs in your Province, that wont be a bad idea.. But make sure when sending mails to the MPs, it must be sent individually i.e do not send to a particular MP and copy other MPs... Send individual messages to each MP..

It will end in praise..

Peace

This assertion about Polaris is not true. I have seen payments made within 2days in Polaris. Funds allocated to Polaris by CBN finish every week that's to show you how people use them.

@Kokolanre contact Polaris YESCENTER so your issue can be sorted out or drop your contact so I can link you to someone in the bank to assist you....cheers

Hello everyone, good evening.

Please i want to know my application status has been on "submitted" after doing my biometrics on 3rd December and no medical request since then. Plz is there anything i need to do concerning the medical request for it to come faster from ircc? Or should i keep on waiting on them to send me the medical request on their own?

Also i thought my application is meant to be undergoing the "review of eligibility" process instead of "submitted"?

Someone should kindly put me through...thanks.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Scott99tish(m): 9:30pm On Dec 20, 2021
The school advised you rightly.
Nothing else to say.

They gave you the best advise; Travel before the validity end (Beginning of August 2022), travel with your old LOA and New LOA to explain at POE.

What you have now is not your Permit, Your Original study permit would be issues at POE and that’s when it will start counting.

Regards.

No medical request ?
You were not told ? Lol, don’t mind me…

On the portal, they said 13 weeks processing time. So just goan rest, You just submitted Dec 3rd.

It’s advisable to go do Upfront, if you want to consider that.
Or if you want to feel the joy of Medical request later, you can wait.

About the medical request, instead of waiting for IRCC, you can book an appointment upfront at either IOM Abuja or Lagos or Qlife clinic Lagos.

If your medical is taking too long to get to the passed phase, you may need to reach out to Qlife and ask for assess to your medical report send to CA. I just thought about it, gave it a shot and was asked to pay 2500 to their account which they sent to me via mail and guess what ? I got my complete medical report though with an attachment eg X-ray scan etc.
The report contains the full names of the persons that attended to you and their assessment. I was fortunate enough to score B and A . Also from the report, almost everything was confirmed ok which gave me rest of mind.
Anyways , I passed my medical . So I will advise you give this a shot so as to know you health status and need to correct anything if need be .
Least I forgot , the “B” I scored was because of HBP. All the best and May God see us through our worries. Canada must accept us ooo. Amen
