A shot story!
Yesterday felt like I wanted to eat an amazing jellof rice, asked some fellas on ma stat N was given some recipes then I went to the store got shrimps�, chicken�, fish�, vegetables���� N ir already got tin tomatoes�,oil, seasonings etc... for ma jellof rice after cooking I noticed my jellof rice dint look red like I imagined�
Note: i dint follow any of the procedures I was told... i just mixed all into the chicken broth, boiled N added my rice... faced some challenges�‍♀️ like having to scoop out some water� I dint know�‍♀️ where it came from N at the end of the day I changed the name of my rice to ricewater��but then I was so proud� of myself� cos I'm a 1 thousand yard of wife�‍♀️ material �����

Not so bad, could pass for coconut rice(with all that veggies) but it's more like concoction (jollof) rice. Why didn't you follow the procedures you were given though? With those ingredients, you'd have made yourself a legit pot of jellof rice. Learn to gauge the quantity of water(or broth) required to cook a bowl of rice or more, by doing that you'll less likely have to scoop and sometimes you'll just need to add a little more. When I read "ricewater" abi water rice, I thought it'll be some grain of rice swimming in a pool of chicken broth lol.

Concoction looks pretty harmless.



But I wouldn't want to be within 100 yards of whatever it is that thing is

The other day I cooked egusi soup, it was so watery I had to enter it in a canoe with a life jacket.

Practice makes perfect, It can only get better from here but next time watch youtube videos or use the recipe you were given. Don't become like my ex who tried to cook a whole chicken inside microwave.
