From what I have seen, there are people that get their ppr within a space of 3months while some up to a year, is there a reason for this

Hello Sir/mas in the house, pls, I need your advice on this matter, my brother got PPR and he is traveling in August this year for the fall semester, his up front medical he did for his visa application last year will expire in June this year before he travels in August.

1. Does he have to do a new medical before he travels or he can just travel like that ?

2. Does immigration check for it at the POE in Canada ?

3. If he needs to do a new medical, what would he do next and who does he submit it to since he already has A STAMPED VISA?

You should apply your spousal permit in the regular IRCC portal..

The new portal does not make provision for Spousal permit application..

How much do you have for your stay? Put the same amount for spouse and children. So, if you are providing a statement of account of 12K, you put 12K for spouse and 12K for children.

Will someone else provide you money for your stay? If you choose no, it should give you a further option to choose parent.

Very unnecessary what you closed you writeup with...because you're VERY wrong, I'm currently in Canada, and I'm here to tell you that u need valid medical report to enter Canada, else you'll sleep at POE. don't be too rude when replying in a public space..#Shalom

Bro, I'm also here in Canada also and I entered without requesting for all these things. This is very logical, medical is required for visa processing which has done that by getting him the visa, proof of fund also did desame and you still have the bank statement with you and your school fee receipt. so who would ask you for this again? they would only ask you for the introduction letter, the visa approval letter, and your passport.

You are actually wrong, I have a friend who applied for and got a study visa in 2020, he submitted medical results and passed but because he couldn't travel in 2020-and deferred his admission to 2021, his medical result expired and IRCC requested a new one before he could travel.

Medical is not just required for visa processing; it is to show that you have no illness before you travel to Canada, that is why if it expires, you will be required to submit a new one

You shouldn't have said 'some people here just respond to what they don't know'. It was unnecessary. You could have just given your advice and walked away.

Anyway, medical exam is only valid for 12 months if you haven't entered Canada, even if your visa has been approved. I have attached some evidence here.

In application of SOWP can you use your spouses GCKEY?
if spouse is one with study permit can you still use spouse to fill the family representative form?
