You see, one thing that's still pending is the insurance recapitalization exercise.
Except AMCON or whichever body in charge of this withdraws or cancel it, then it will still take place maybe with extended deadline.
When?? We don't know yet.

Most of the insurance companies have commenced activities in line with that........ That's why you can see the likes of NEM, MANSARD, AIICO, LINKAGE, MBENEFIT and maybe some other ones doing reconstructions, giving bonuses, embarking on right issues as well as sourcing for investors both within and outside the country to be able to meet up when time comes.

Some will be acquired while some will merge in the course of this. So, no hope is lost yet.
If not for the aparthy towards insurance sector, quite a lot of them are undervalued.
I am waiting to see the outcome of Mansard Board meeting

If not for the aparthy, how can you explain Custodian for instance still dilly-dallying around N7, with that type of result and div payouts??

Do you know with 32million naira you can own 1% of universal insurance which is selling 3x below its book value, with Equity/shareholder fund worth 10billion naira. Meaning your 1% stakes gives you 100million naira in shareholder fund value.
Don't Dull.

Lol. Who could have thought it would go this far...... Wonders of NSE. cheesy
......but from the findings that time, if I could still recollect, German Govt has a stake in the Coy thru a private coy, which could have been another factor that could be influencing their operations positively.

As for NIGERINS, I also observed the activities there from 20k and has recently been on full bid.......
Maybe acquisition or merger is in the pipeline who knows.

Yes, I remember when you said something about acquisition by German govt. Hanty, you are doing fine.
For NIGERINS, I strongly believe something dey pipeline. The volume is scarce as against what should have been the case with the little rise in price.

Vanguard carries that talks on acquisition of large stake in NIGERINS by a foreign investor have just been concluded. Proshare carries it too.
I refrain from saying more on this to avoid the monkey hunter label.

I don't really know what's up on this, but it seems that something is coming or going to happen maybe soon. The way it is rising but people are not offloading as it is usually the case in this kind case of DRY BONE SHALL RISE. They are not releasing the volume which might mean that they want to move the price to new location

There are several publications on transcorp oil and gas. Look through their annual reports and see some. Also google and find many. This is another I got from google. Note that this is different from earlier once.

Heirs is in partnership with Transcorp. What's the nature of the partnership? Has TRANSCORP issued any notice on the NSE to that effect?

Tony used Heirs holdings for the acquisition.

Transcorp has its own Oil Block but don't think they are doing anything on the block.

The question to ask is the nature of the partnership?

Heirs is the owner.

Obviously so. I found the foreign investor interest news yesterday and today I disembarked from RTBRISCOE bus and immediately took a seat in NIGERINS bus. We are now we'll seated close to the tank watching when fuel level will be nearing the bottom so as to know when to jump out for safety.

It does seem transcorp has a stake albeit smaller than heirs'... transcorp will of course earn revenue therefrom

Return ke. Like say I won't part with my hard earned money for a risky asset. Even the ancestors go reject the matter. The OS is too huge to do like Nigerins. So no be giveaway.

...and from 71k EPS compared to 72k 2020 EPS. There is no noticeable growth to make investors particularly excited.
This reminds me of Pa Emma's note from a week ago:
emmanuelewumi:

When the current ceo of United Capital was in APR, APR paid a bigger dividend.
Now that he is in United Capital, Ucap is now paying better than APR.
When he was in APR, he planned managing the registers of Staff cooperative societies in the private sector, also planned diversifying into real estate.
Registrar is a dead end business, you need a resourceful and an innovative CEO to turn around the fortunes of APR
AFRIPRUD remains the dry bone I will keep believing in: someday it will rise again smiley. Hopefully more opportunities (lower entry prices, attractive P/E) to load will open up in the coming months. Far from the best, but way better than many on the exchange.

You are correct. They are almost turning into a Tech provider and the future belong to Tech ICT in particular. If they have the right drive and having the advantage of providing these services to every company connected to Tony Elumelu they will blow even in less than 2 years
