one rider told me yesterday that is like indriver is now more expensive than bolt grin and i think i also notice it because yesterday inside Thomas estate while waiting for destination trip on bolt/uber i saw a request on indrive within the estate, I saw 2 mins to pick up then 3 mins to destination. Offer was 800 i accepted but indriver warned me that the trip shouldn't be less than 900 so the rider raise it to 900 , I was surprised because on bolt na 600 be dat just 3 mins trip to unity homes...I collect 1K still no give change sef grin

Indriver does not have surge, you can't see ride of 9k on indriver. They are traffic drivers on Indriver are just on their own, so all app work for one good at a particular point in time. That's why I will never understand when a driver try to foster one app is better than the other if he is not directly benefiting from the company.

On a normal day without surge, Indriver is far making sense compare to bolt

Indriver is expensive than Bolt.

It's only cheap when the oversabi and crook riders edit the recommended price.

Why is there still a ride of 600 in 2022? With the rising cost of car maintenance.

Is it that this App companies don't just care or what exactly is the reason behind this.

U just did what u say u will never understand in ur last paragraph grin.

Sometimes Indriver is better than Uber/Bolt like from Yaba to VI or Lekki Phase 1. That trip is not more than 1,800 to VI and 2,500 to Phase 1 on Uber/Bolt but on Indriver u will be seeing 2,500 to VI and 3,500 to Lekki.

But generally speaking Indriver can't be compared to Uber/Bolt.

In another news, guys brace up. Toll Gates at Lekki corridors will start performing optimally in days to come.

Gosh I hate this country.

How much toll will those greedy guys collect? How many years?

Yet the road is still trash with no lane markings and no street lights.

Another protest should shut down that illegal toll abeg.

How can someone pay N300 to be driving on laneless pothole infested roads?

We really are suffering and smiling in this country I tell you.

They now want to bring back traffic on top of everything again.

Do you see how at least no tolls eased the traffic? That traffic that used to stretch all the way to 1004 estate.

People will bash your car, you will struggle, all for the right to pay N300 to drive on a useless road.

God have mercy on us!

Sometimes d Rider intentionally puts a high amount to attract Drivers to go on the trip. So it's just circumstantial when u see high fares on Indriver cos if he uses Bolt, nobody will drive all d way to come and pick him in that place wen his destination is just a stones throw away.
Perceived high fares on Indriver is just subject to d type of Rider. Some increase but most of them even reduce the recommended fares given by the App. Eg Lekki Phase 1 to Ajah 2k in the evenings with all that traffic is common. Who does that? But surprisingly u will still see drivers picking it.

Or bariga/that side close to yaba with plenty one way and even some part of mushin than airport. All those areas with L.G.A touts + Lastma /cbd fear them. No even go there at all

Mushin Tantalizer , facing Isolo did me strong thing like 2 years back. LCDA task force touts

Left turn from that Mortuary, going to unilag sef don show me pepper 3 years back. Sabo police

Even TBS , that middle road to turn left or right to onikan sef knack me last year December. TBS lastma

You are right, those areas mad pass airport.

Most Riders only call when :

1. Trip is to unfavourable place.
2. When they are running late.
3. When so many drivers have cancelled on them
4. When it's very late or too early
5. You swipe arrive and they cant see you.

Most riders expect drivers to be the one doing the calling, some of them won't even pick app call, but their are exceptions .

I picked up a man in Surulere some months ago and I chatted him I was outside the hotel and even tried calling him on the app but he didn't pick up.

When he came out the first thing he said was, "you didn't border to call.
Sir, I chatted and also called you on the app you didn't respond to any and the Uner app also notified you I was here.
I said that with a cool voice and a smile while driving out already.

The man said he doesn't like data calls... Can you imagine! Meaning you saw it but because u don't like data call u didn't pick it up so I should have called with my airtime right? You try.

I just kept him quiet and didn't say anything to him again till i got to MRS I told him I'd to buy fuel oga was trying to state the rules for me...

Sir, which would you prefer, that the car stops us in the middle of nowhere or we spend 3min in refueling?

But I'm being charged for the time.

Me: don't worry I'll give you a discount of the number of time we spend here. Its only N12/min. Pls start your stop watch now.

He just kept quiet and didn't say a word again till we got to ikoyi.

Rubbish people.
An elderly man for that matter o in his 50s I presume

Anyways bros no just hype your hope, nobody will protest anything they will just absorb everything as usual. No be naija?

It will be so painful though. I know the pain we used to suffer there, cause that is my daily route.

Serious pains of traffic and chaos.

I have fought on that toll gate spot so many times from people bashing my car and it seemed that there was no day I didn't witness people fighting cause someone's car has been bashed.

Then the long daily brutal traffic. I even had the toll card and the traffic was still brutal and God help you if the person in front with toll card doesn't have credit on the card. There is no were for him to reverse to and they won't even organize it such that the person can pass maybe with a police escort to either assure toll payment or make a u-turn, naaaaa. There would just be stand still for minutes, you will even be wondering why you decided to use the supposed "faster lane" with toll cards, when those paying cash have all already left.

That traffic sometimes will stretch all the way to 1004 on one side and lekki phase one gate on the other side. Imagine, just crawling and crawling and you know that it is the government that is deliberately adding to your suffering. Later they will be asking "how can we reduce traffic in lagos?", mudafvkaaaaaa, hasn't traffic been reduced now that there is no toll? These baaastards don't rate us at allllllllll!!!!!!

Then why must that road be tolled in the first place? That road was already there long time ago, just narrower. It would be like putting toll gate on Herbert Macauly or some other mainland road.

If you want to toll tekki-link bridge, I would support, because you built it from scratch, although we also deserve free infrastructure, but if you tolled that one fine.

If you build a fourth and fifth mainland bridge like, tomorrow, and tolled it, I don't think there will be much push-back, cause you built those from scratch on a brand new route, and the free alternatives are fantastic multi-lane roads, like the third mainland bridge. However, these guys were so wicked, they now called that one lane oniru market road and alternative to a supposed highway with three lanes.

Then there was the corruption. So they have battered us to suffer in traffic and pay N300 naira, then why can't the road be smooth with lane markings and law and order? Look how all the lanes have all disappeared from that road and people now drive like even madder people than they already were. Except for few new land markings at lekki phase one, and some other places, like 95% of that roads markings have all faded.

How can I drive on Third Mainland Bridge, a free road, and it will have lane markings, but I will now pay N300 and no lane markings? Corrupt mudafbkers$#@!

If this was a white man country, sorry to say, that road would be like Gold, especially after they have made you pay N300 per pass, but here in black man land, once the money is flowing and they have gun pointed at you, the infrastructure can rot for all they care.

See how proper roads look like in the pic below, now compare that with lekki epe stretch of road when you drive on it today, mtcheew.
