All of you who go collecting loans from these companies and refuse to pay, what really is your problem? How does such act differ from buying things at your neighborhood grocery and refusing to pay? These people may be going about their agitations wrongly but they are genuine agitations. If you cannot pay back as at when due, don't borrow!

After defaming someone, they'll still want to be paid. Agbero people!

In as much as the companies can be rash on defaulters, we should endeavor to pay our loans as at when due, na this kind thing dey give Nigeria and nigerians bad name when it comes to business

Don't go taking loan when you don't have means of paying back or taking loan you have already made up ur mind not to repay.
You are young today and you forget to think of your tomorrow.
This singular act may come haunting your success tomorrow.
This character can be used against you at the point of your success.
You may get an international appointment/job.
Presenting this dishonest act may rob u of the opportunity.
What if you goes into politics and someone brings this up?

Take a loan. Pay for it.
If there are challenges that may stop you from paying at the right time.
Go back to the loan firm and renegotiate.

Somehow, I really don't blame them... They are a product of the Nigerian culture and system.

Be like say the average Nigerian never owe you money before. Them go owe you come still dey show you attitude on top the matter.

Once upon a time, debtors were humble and had the decency of even dodging... Nowadays, Dem go dey challenge their creditors sef.

I have lost count of the amounts of money I had to let go after the debtors refused to pay up.... That's why I don't give out anymore, except amounts I can afford to let go.

The loan Companies deserve what they get. These people will advertise online, sponsor adds full of lies, when you finally download their app with ur data u will be seeing outrageous interest rate. They will advertise online that if you take a loan of 40,000 you will repay 43,000 in 27days. But when you stress urself and use ur data to download and apply for same loan, they will tell you that you will repay 50,000... a whooping 10,000 interest... chai.. i love the guys that take the loan and disappear.

There's no rubbish there. Let people pay what they owe. Everyday, I get messages from different companies that people on my contact list took loans and have refused to pay. It's becoming embarrassing for me. If I don't get messages, I'd be getting calls. I know naija is hard but that doesn't mean that people should become rogues. There's a sensible way of replying someone when you are owing. The chat up there shows that person does not intend to pay and the person deserves all the embarrassment he can get.

The loan sharks are very wicked.

They even break Google terms by giving loans with short tenures, while retaining high interest rates.

Google does not allow 7-day loan tenures. The least is 1 month to have it on Google Playstore.

So, these loan sharks lie to potential customers promising huge loan amounts (100k- above) for long tenure with reasonable interest rates, only for the customer to register and see a loan offer of 7k to repay 12k in 5-7 days.

Then, there is the issue of crude loan recovery methods which is illegal.

Honestly, the government needs to do more. One way is to thoroughly regulate these lenders.

Second, is to sanitize the public.

Many people don't know that they can report these lenders who breach their data, and threaten them.

Even Federal Government is owing.....owing dept is not a new thing, there should be a better approach on how to speak to customers to pay back.... This country is too hard.

Last year I was in dire need of loan, I tried fair money and carbon. Even though I didn't accept it because I needed more than what they offered, but I must commend their level of professionalism. They were cautious and polite unlike soko loan rude female staff.

I saw what u did there... u are filling gaps for a living... snooping around looking for advert opportunities ....
