Dependant Visa

So again if they didn’t annotate “No work or business” on both your vignettes, and it’s just on the BRP then it’s definitely an error, since you have reported it right away they would amend it and send you a new card, am telling you now that it would be with you probably before the end of this week.

I tried to check and can see so many cards. Please what do you need to look out for before choosing a credit card? Is it the interest rate?

Do you work full time or part time? It says I’m ineligible, maybe because of my earnings.

Use the services that would give you percentage of acceptance.

For some cards, you will see that you have been pre-approved. That means you have a 99.999999999999 chance of getting it if you apply.

For some, you see 80%, 70% or 50% etc.... for some, you will be outrightly told you cant get it, dont bother.

Guys I finally got a job in the Uk after trying for 2 years from Nigeria . To God be the glory.

My office is in Wilmsow Cheshire Manchester. Unfortunately, resumption time is 7:30am-5pm.

We are a family of 3 but i will be coming alone first.

I wonder how, i would juggle it out with my child and school and still resume work by 7:30am when my family moves in with him.

I have asked this question before but i am looking for a place close to wilmslow that is affordable in terms of rent and schools for kids. Please suggest the closest towns i can live in.

Thank you, May God bless you all.

When you track this does it say its in DMC or VAC?.... also has someone gone to Tsl to check directly .. definitely stroll to their office

This is what it says.

No one has gone to TLS yet. I doubt if they can listen to anyone. During application, DHL delivery was selected. I really wish one could get across to TLS. Like you said previously, the Passport may be gathering dust somewhere...question is: Where?? Im sooooo no happy

There is no right or wrong answer to this. Some will agree that you are being crazy for not grabbing the sponsorship ‘opportunity’ with both hands, while some would argue that ‘at what cost’? From your tone, it seems you do not want to sacrifice your family for the fast track ILR. While I agree that not every opportunity is an opportunity, my advice for you would be to sit down with your other half and agree what’s best for your family.

If you could get 2 job offers at the same time now, you will certainly get another one with sponsorship close to home - sooner or later. See these 2 offers as your stepping stone - each has one advantage over the other - so the question you should ask yourself is which of the 2 do you want to take as a stepping stone to what you really want? England for a few months to start the ILR clock or Scotland for a few months to get UK work experience and boost your chances of getting one with sponsorship locally? Whatever decision you make is not crazy - they are both valid and sensible - you just need to decide based on what you believe is best for you and your family, given the circumstance.

PS: if you take the one without sponsorship and perform really well on the job and decide to leave after a few months due to sponsorship, chances are they will offer you the sponsorship to keep you. And if they don’t, it’s their loss!

Finally, you will receive advice from people based on their own circumstance and what matters to them. What you make of it, is entirely up to you.

You spoke with so much wisdom

Congratulations. I remember you. The Embryologist yes? but you had a 25k job last year. did you turn it down?

The statement in bold isnt very clear. You are female (mother). You have a child. and you said its a family of 3 . does that mean you, your husband (or civil partner) and your child? Now you said "when my family moves in with him" thats a bit confusing.

You said "but i will be coming alone first" that is usually the best thing. You come alone, test the waters and settle down wella....
By the waym, how old is your child?
If you are buoyant enough, and the child is school age, you could enroll them in Breakfast club (some schools start at 7:00 am - or earlier).

Good day all,
Hope you are all well

I was advised to create an account and state my issue.
My husband is a student in the UK studying Data science and I'm spouse dependent. We also have kids.
My dilemma is that I was offered two jobs in care. One will offer sponsorship and the other won't. The one with sponsorship is in England and we are in Glasgow scotland.
The one that won't offer sponsorship are in Glasgow and are on the sponsor list. I checked but they are still claiming that they can't offer sponsorship. I don't want to go to England because the job is domiciliary care which means driving and driving for hours and only getting paid for time spent with clients. Which means I may never get to see my children who are still very young.
I just feel 5 years is a long time to be miserable and unhappy because of trying to get ILR
A friend advised me to take the non sponsorship one and try to convince them and secondly, to keep looking for another job with sponsorship in Scotland.
Our visa will expire in January 2023.
I'm really confused on what to do. Am I being crazy for even thinking of not taking the job with sponsorship? I really need wise advice. Thank you in advance

Some people are sending me messages that I should connect them to the company that sponsors.
There is more to the story than I didn't mention. Apart from what I raised in my previous post, the place where the job is Hertfordshire . I was told to look for accommodation in one of the following areas Buntingford, Hertford, Ware, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop Stortford, Hoddesson
Which are all about an hour away from London and very expensive. Two bedroom is average £1200 per month. Salary after tax is about £1500. So imagine having only £300 to take home after all that hardwork. Yes I'm married but we don't know when spouse will get a job, could take a while and even when he does, relying on his income for other bills for such a long time doesn't sit well with me.

Once you've had some experience with the company in Glasgow, you'll be probably be able to get a sponsored one. Do a pros and cons list - take the job with the most pros.

Hello, I am a health carer here in the UK with a tier 4 dependant visa. Please where can I study for a nationally recognised NVQ3 in adult or mental health care here in the UK? I see so many online courses but I want to be guided.
Also I am looking for tier 2 sponsorship if you know a company offering sponsorship please let me know. Thanks.

@Kaylov12 and any other person who have gone through the process, I'll be having my PGCE interview next week for two schools. One is using zoom while the other will be through teams.

Please, I will love to know what to expect and how to answer the questions during the interview.

Thanks in advance

5 years work visa = ILR (student visa is not a work visa so not included, PSW Not included as well )

10 years legally in UK = ILR (time spent as a student will count and so will PSW )

If no company is ready to sponsor, then some people stay on student visa and see how they can drag studying for 10 years. Not a cheap options sha because school fees money is not beans but its how some people have gotten ILR especially those who start from A level or first degree

Well understood Ma. Thank you

Try Open Study College.
A couple of people have used those for their NVQs that I can remember.

Regardless of whatever decision you eventually take (icon8 and others have given you the best advice possible), you will need to change that mindset, and be ready for any situation life throws up.

As an aside, I know of quite a few couples who lived or are living apart while one spouse works out of London, Bristol or similarly expensive locations and the other manages the family in a less pocket-draining or stress-inducing location.

Can you bargain for more money? If yes, then I will advise you take the job. You have about 10 months more to get sponsorship or you will have to spend money on PSW. You should however not stop looking for another job as you are free to change sponsor at any time. A friend changed sponsor 3 times while on Tier 2 visa.

Too many fakes in Turkey if I was looking to by a genuine brand, I wouldn’t buy it from Turkey. Instead I would go to America or buy it from UK . There are some Brand retail parks where you can get up to 60% discounts. There’s one in Newcastle.
