Once you have uploaded all your stuff, the only things you need would be your passport, photocopy of your passport and your checklist.

Courier Email To Lagos : 25th Of March 11pm
Picked Up at DHL : 26th Of March

Visa Issued. Visiting Visa (6months)
I saw it was issued on the 22nd of march on my passport.

So they have made a decision right? I have said it many times I learn a lot reading on here. Those that keep their passport wait longer, because TLS would not email to contact them to bring their passports once UKVI had made a decision.

Those that didn’t keep their passports can at least turn up at TLS after 15WD of being told by UKVI that a decision had already been made, but those who held on to their passports can only hope/pray and wait for the TLS email. Because what can they do if they go to TLS?

So once you have paid the visa fees and IHS fees you would be redirected to the TLS Website. That’s where you choose which service that you want. You can choose a self service, assisted service etc.

Self service (You get to upload everything by yourself, stuffs like Bank statements, payslips, sponsors letters, accommodations etc or whatever is on your checklist)..

Assisted service (You would print off all your documents in A4 size and take it there for them to check over for you).

Thanks for your reply. I didn't see self-service, so I booked a slot at TLS. I paid for them to keep my passport until the notification from the UKVI. Is that alright or not?
Plus, do I need to do a tuberculosis test, as I'm applying for a visit visa?

keep passport is to keep passport with yourself not with TLS. This is about 27k.
Self service means uploading the documnts urslf while assisted service means TLS will do the uploadimg for u. Self service is free. Assisted service is about 12k naira.
U dnt need tb test for visit visa.

I paid for assisted service, courier return and also for them to hold my mum’s passport.
But I want to understand if paying N27k for them to hold the passport is worth it. Would it be faster or slower? If it is not so much of a good idea, can I get a refund on that particular service?

As a first time UK visa applicant I need a clarification : when applying for UK visit visa as a business owner.
Is it compulsory to add tax clearance certificate? Advisable
Is it also compulsory to add business bank statement or only personal account that shows payments receive from business account as salary? Worked to favour some and proved their case, worked against some per different reasons. The decision is yours.
If I choose to upload all my documents do I still need to go to embassy with those documents? No . Only carry along checklist, photocopy of data page and ofcourse passport
Should i also upload my expired visas from other country ? Yes

Hi
Keep passport option = you holding onto your passport during the time it will take UKVI to decide on your application. Per the outcome of their decision, you will then be contacted by TLS. You would be asked to submit the passport . TLS then sends to UKVI for the visa and when done will contact you again for pickup. In essence, when one pays for keep passprt, you hold onto passport and wait till whenever TLS will contact yu… You will then need to take the passport back to TLS.
To be frank, since it was introduced it has been a headache… most ppl have been here complaining on how TLS wastes so much time to contact them to bring the passprt. This is minus the time one has wasted in waiting for UKVI to make decision.
As per refund- you can send a message now to them through their link and see if u will be replied in time and/or fight for refund when your mom goes for biometrics

Not at all. The individual decision are based on each applicants case/documentation provided. Personally prefer the self service because you can go through your check list, upload everything yourself and then turn up with your passport, photocopy of your passport and checklist for your biometrics at TLS.

I will go for my biometric capturing in Abuja next week.

My six months statement of account is about 121 pages. Do I have to print 121 pages and take to biometric centre? Is that not too much?

Hello house, please I need a way forward on this scenario ooo,I did my biometrics on 20,, November,2021 and till March this year haven't heard from UKVI nor the TLS, So I went to TLS last week Friday with my TLS SLIP and on getting there my passport is there, upon opening the parcel, the visa is not there neither the reason wasn't given why the visa was not issue in the parcel... please guru in the house what should I do.
