Festus and I left Abraka back to Enugu, we sat at the front of the bus. Festus: Oy,my younger brother has got admission ,they gave him civil engineering. Me: I'm happy for him o. Festus: I'm just thinking how my brother will feel, knowing his brother has turned out as one of the most dreaded guys in Enugu. I never thought it will be like this o. Festus: Its unfortunate, but I'm always regretting why I agreed to join when Nnamdi told me they will help me. See me now,if i manage to graduate with third class I go do party. Sorry say I carry you join this thing, if no be me you for no join,that one sure me. If I see my brother near or join any cult, na me go take my hand kill am. The only war we go war war na for us to fall Michael,if I no get assurance say we go fall am we no go war. I want serious this year. All my carry over,I want write all of them. Me just bleeping girls, Festus just doing fine boy and going to different shows,but first we have to look for Angela and know why she betrayed me. School has not yet resumed, so we were just doing things as we like in town, in the morning and evening men go come meet Festus and Justin, everywhere go full,we no get privacy. That's part of the office anyway. In the afternoon I'll go and stay with Eniola, we were just friends, no thought of bleeping,maybe she wants me to bleep her, but for me,I just enjoy her company and the ewedu and amala,she like to cook. I hope we remain like that. One morning I followed Eniola to the market,see Angela,she's doing sales girl for a shop in Ogbete. Me: What are you doing here,na una shop be this? Angela: I am working here,to raise money for my fees,before school will resume. Unfortunately they were selling female clothes, so I could not buy anything from her. Me: I'll like us to hang out, maybe this evening at Mr Biggs. Angela: It will be by 7,I don't close shop till 6. Me: No wahala, anytime, just show. Eniola: I dey with you,you are booking a date with another girl, when you don take me out before? Angela: Na my big bros be this,since I'm in Enugu, he's the one that has been sheltering me. Eniola: I am just pulling his legs,he knows I don't mean it. We bought the stuffs we came for,I entered the bank withdraw 7k,gave Eniola 1k,at least these week i go chop free food for her house tire.we moved back home. I went to ask Esther about Angela, she told me she doesn't understand Angela these days,that Angela comes home anytime and some time she won't see her for 1 week. I stayed with Esther till 7 before I went to Mr Biggs. Angela was already there waiting for me,I told her to order anything of her choice,she went and bought rice and chicken with juice,me I no want eat.. Since I knew her I've never taken her out. Me: Since we have been friends have I done anything wrong to you? Or how have I hurt you? Angela: You are a nice guy,you've never hurt me. Angela began to sing like canary bird. I was in class when some guys came to call me,they said I am your girlfriend that I am staying with you. I did not ask her anything again, but I sensed she was lying. For her mind she don fool wise man,she no sabi say I want her to be comfortable, so next time she go come again, this time we go plenty, different people go ask her different questions, I go know if na true she dey talk that time. Me: How much are they paying you where you work and how much have you been able to save? Angela: 5k,I have saved 3k. Me: Don't worry, if school resumes I'll give you 5k,I love hard working people. I no just talk I go give her. I'm not giving her for being an accomplice to Ifeoma death, but I don't know what keeps pushing me to help her. Angela became free again and began to sleep in Esther place regularly again, small girl think say she smart. Angela narrated different thing from what she told me, in fact as she go dey reason, men go fem her tell her to start again she go reason different thing, the girl was too dull. Shes not smart at all. Festus gave her better slaps,she say she go confess. (I pity guys wey dey follow dull girls, they have nothing to offer except their pussy. Funny enough she married a obodo oyibo husband) Me: You be witch? oya confess na. Angela: You toasted me and began to treat me like I was a baby or i am not beautiful enough for you. Saint: Na him make you go call bags to kill him girl, even girls wey dem dump no dey behave like this. Angela: When I was in class and they were talking about him,I told Monday that I know him,the next day Monday came with Michael, that was how they deceived me to sell out Ifeoma to them. Monday didn't tell me they will shoot her,he just told me they will just beat her and Esther to stay away from you. Festus: How much them give you? Angela: 500 hundred. Op sold out his friend which happened to be the only son of his parents and they felt so much pain, then angela sold out Ifeoma and that is the only thing that can make OP feel so much pain like the parents that lost their only son.
