This does not apply in Nigeria only but all over the world.

Elon Musk is also notorious for always giving his staff dress down.

You just have to ignore those aspects and focus on the reward which is your salary at the end of the month.

Its happens bro. There is a limit to what anyone can take. It makes no sense working and your employer sees nothing good in what you're doing . Delaying your salary too is harsh cos you need the income to work as best as you can.

These employers can be callous sometimes and its because some of them believe they're doing you a favor by employing you, which isn't the case most times - they should have done the job themselves then if they thing they're paying you for doing nothing.

Just work on getting a replacement.

i have been working with this company for 9month and i have always try to make things right but both the ceo and manager talk to me like i have been doing nothing.

Just because a job was delayed due to the pressure i am facing and i was insulted and the ceo asked them to delay my payment for another month.

I have to take my leave immediately because honestly i am fed up with the insults.

Do we even have any effective labour law in this country?

First change the topic of your thread to "you just left your Job" instead of "you just lost your job" as its misleading.

Secondly, you should never quit your job without getting another or a new plan/strategy.

Finally, there are so many skills and services u can learn if u choose to work for yourself.
It may seem slow at first but with time u will be cashing out.
All these need self discipline, persistent, hard work and patience with prayers.
