MARKET RECOVERED FROM HEAVY SELLING EARLIER IN THE DAY Good to see market recovering, earlier things were scary. What did we buy today? After close of market we will give update. At least, if we are sure of our system, we should buy first to show conviction. |

leparj: Don't worry FBNH is known to always release their result late, they are always paying fine to regulators for late fillings virtually every year. It's not surprising. So just relax don't panic to sell. When you hear first bank just know they are first from the back when it comes to most things a bank of their magnitude suppose to do. We know them. But the truth is that things are looking better for them now and the elephant will come out stronger... this is not a buy recommendation investors should always do the due diligence. 5 Likes |

yMcy56: We need to know the buyout price, I hope it is up to N5. FMW might make Honeywell subsidiary like NNFM. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56(f): 2:23pm On Apr 28, 2022 |
OBAGADAFFI:Thought nobody wants to talk about it before.... Yes, waiting for the buyout price......... The article talked about merger...........that both Board of Directors of FMN and HWG will sit to discuss about the landmark merger....... .....and that of FBNH's 5.06% is acquisition...... We'll see how it goes...... |

onegentleguy: CADBURY was on full bid with over 28M unit waiting to be filled today. ...already delivered near 26% since the post above. Fantastic Q1, 2022 report that infers potential for immense REWARD ahead of surrounding risk. Remember mentioning something about that coy in time past. Elsewhere, CAP, UNILEVER, VITAFOAM, GSK, WAPCO, ACCESSCORP, UBA and TOTAL are among the list of companies that have also declared great/improved reports so far. It should pay to have these coys on your watchlist and where necessary, seek to key in at prices that suites your investment personality and goals... but that, after due diligence. Selah 9 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI:Bros, what happens to minority shareholders is the most important to me. Though the buyout price is equally important cos it may give insight into what happens to minorities.... ...but I think it'll be fair all in all and ....in the long run ........they may decide to combine the flour biz. Na my opinion o. Over 25M units in deal today......... Let's keep eye on it........all na investment risk. 1 Like |

On ACCESSCORP (formerly Access bank) purported 70k interim dividend declaration... I do not think there's any confusion on that. What the bank (Accesscorp) has done is totally within the armbit of the law on coperate disclosure and governance and rightfully justified. The timing of the transitioning from a banking entity to a Holding company structure implies that there should be a name change to what describes it's coperate action. ...the implementation/adoption, I think, started out btw H2 and Q3, 2021, hence the recognition of an incomplete calendar yr (in 2021) and by implication the need for the word "interim" as appropriate. There's still a near 1 probability that the lender will still declare an interim dividend come June/July, 2022 (H1, 2022 in view) and another for YE, 2022 by Feb/March next yr. That of YE, 2022 can then be captioned as "final" since a full calendar yr would've been recognized at the time. Regards 2 Likes |

onegentleguy: NOTE: Add GUINNESS and ZENITH BANK to the list above. GUINNESS appears to be a "money making machine". The just released Q3, 2022 financial print shows an over 730% jump in NPM (EM in view)... with an impressive growth witnessed accross all revenue and earnings line compared to previous yr guide. Expect a better cash/div declaration by yr end (>> 3 months from now) To this end, my FVE (for Guinness) has adjusted upwards to N117.61 (previous: N86.15) using a conservative valuation model and attaching an appreciable premium net of surrounding volatility. That said, short termers who keyed in long before now (ref: btw N20-25) might wish to book some profit though. Short term? ...Neutral. Mid-Long term? ...Hold. Rating: Neutral. As for ZENITH, well... CAVEAT: NOT to be interpreted as any sought of recommendation. ...when in doubt, do well to seek the service of a reputable investment manager/adviser for guidance. |

onegentleguy: Thanks bro for your analysis. I have a question someone that buys Guinness at N117 what do they stand to gain? I do not know if Guinness will be able to pay N3 as full year dividend. That is about 2.5% returns. 1 Like |
