I almost joined a cult back then but somehow, I escaped death because someone talked to me like this.

We were about 10 who wanted to join this cult. As I type this now, 6 are dead, 2 in prison in Benue state.

From there,oc bobo told me to follow him to kogi for Ogume(fortifications),on our way I asked about Charles,that he need ogume too,he told me not to worry that Charles is not a man,he talks too much,ok na,i kept calm,till we reach kogi,we enter thick forest o, I was scared,i thought maybe Oc want to use me for rituals self,i held my HAMA tight as in,any man wey goes na shooting straight,finally we arrived our location,i saw one old woman,i believe she is the queen mother of the shrine or so,my guess was right,they told me to lay down on a black water,she poured something like blood on me,the smell was horrible,smells like a poo!after that,she used razor and some ashes to mark all my bodies,gave me a ring,she told me anytime something bad wants to happen the ring will burn my finger,giving me signal to leave,i felt reborn,from there I was ruthless o,she tested the ogume with a rifle,omo fear catch me, bang for my chest,nothing happened,i started feeling like Superman,but she told me, never to sleep with a lady on her menstrual period,to be continued!

Even when I entered the university. I was approached by some cultists in my 100L. They came to my apartment at night holding smokes and drinks pretending to be looking for my roommate who was their friend. They promised me protection if I joined and offered to make my initiation quick that night should I indicate interest in joining. I was scared for my life. I faked a call by pretending my friend who was on his way to night reading got an accident. I made them understand it was an emergency and I needed to attend to it urgently. I told them I'd give them feedback on that later and excused myself from them. I later got to spend 2weeks at a friends place just so these guys don't look for me again with such devilish proposal. It's been 8 years now and I'm happy I didn't budge to that proposal.
