WEMA should be able to defend it I think.....

A stock selling below N1 paying dividend of 0.08k if we take it back to pre-reconstruction time, 100% dividend payout..........post-reconstruction 0.24k.....not bad if they can maintain and improve on the performance I think.

No... you need to divide that price by 3 to capture the banks recent RSS exercise.
Effective price peg should actually compute to approx N1.28 at present.

Otherwise you should also multiply the price of F&F by a 3x multiple if you really wanna do a P2P comparison.

I remember when some persons were hitting on me for highlighting the potential in WEMA as one of the best growth coy in the banking space. Coy was trading for <55k then before it pushed up and delivered near 100% ROI.

WEMA will do well though.
But I prefer to watch that "movie" sitting on the fence for now.

Infact, the last 2 witnessed a whooping >6,404bps and near 64,501bps (>645.7%) growth YoY.

Within the sector, the coy also did better at optimizing cost and strengthening it's BS position in the yr under review. (ref: 2020-21)
Elsewhere, the coys (WAPCO') current EV/EBITDA stand rightly describes the best pick amongst fellow P2P sector players given their current market prices.

Yet the last 3 weeks has seen it drop by the highest margin (>23.85%... from circa N27+ to N21.8 @ present)
What better time to key in than now!

Using a mix of valuation model that adopts a highly CONSERVATIVE approach... assuming zero growth in Q1, 2022 and further attaches near 1.5x premium to surrounding risk, I have a FVE of N35.9
...which implies a >64.6% discount from CMP.
