CrystalMax:I agree. I didn't fancy the way she sat like a drug kingpin. No friends, no associates, no nothing. Forming tough with no justification for the toughness |

Lyoncrescent:Lol They got the CCTV by the second episode though. As at the first episode, the mother believed he had just gone into hiding to avoid marrying Sarah, so, pulling out the CCTV would have been unnecessary. Even in American movies, they don't ask for CCTV unless there is a genuine fest the person has gone missing. The CCTVs came up at the right time |

emkz:Blade was arrested after he was disarmed though, or at least escorted off the premises. Perhaps Kola did not want a scene on the day of his engagement, hence how quiet he was. As for the showing himself, na so dem dey for American movies as well, we will never know why they have to do that. Yes, this is definitely the best work from Mo Abudu, it is almost enough for me to forgive the travesty that was Chief Daddy 1&2, but not quite. Thanks for the observation on the police IG's office |

biode03:The scene with the security man was suspicious for me, yes, I totally forgot that , not because he did not know the staff, because it is a big hotel and knowing the entire staff may not be realistic as well. My issue with that scene was that he could not recognise the bride he was talking about, despite their pictures plastered about the hotel. CCTV could not have captured the murder, because it was done inside a room, and I doubt there are CCTVs in people's bedrooms, that would be a violation of guests privacy. Fugitives can walk on a road, this is Nigeria, fugitives walk inside market self, how much more a deserted road? No be everybody dey know say dem dey find people, especially if you reach rural areas The theft of the Mustang is easy to explain. A chase, in Nigeria? Who for chase them? They pulled him aside and ran off with his car. There is a possibility he made a report, but the entire theft happened in the dead of night, so, the likelihood of even getting a police station to answer you at that time is low. Also, the car did not take them so far, because it still broke down sometime at night and they had to abandon it on another empty stretch of road. Yes, there were some loopholes, but nothing massive that could have affected the integrity of the movie any more than the sort of loop holes you'd find in a foreign production. |
Very interesting movie. Jim Iyke's latest movie is another Banger. Thumbs up Guys.
. Real Banger! The second reasonable nollywood movie of recent after King of boys. Jim Iyke did one hell of a different movie in nollywood history. |

Another typical nollywood movie. I am only hit on by the cast. |

safarigirl:I didn't miss anything. I read your piece and I said it was a nice writeup. You're a spoiler cos u just explained the whole movie just few days after it came out. I can tell you love movies. Next time keep it short with very little details to entice your readers and not spoil it for them. Have a nice day |

Lol... I don't grab all the hype this movie is getting. This to me is just like any other Nollywood. The acts are foreign and not Nigeria at all, so one can easily tell they are faking it. Kung-fu, Noah playing bodyguard..Detectives formingforeign..the camera guy that suddenly woke up and his car won't start...abeg... If it is not it, it can only be like it. Nollywood going foreign can only be like the foreign. To me, it's still a f**k up... I watched the movie because my wife wouldn't let me rest. |

safarigirl:If my best friend goes missing for whatever reason in a hotel on his wedding day all dressed up as he was and even on the assumption maybe he left without his car, the first thing I am doing is telling the hotel to check their cctv. At least hall way cctv will show he went into the room and never came out. However like I said, they wanted to drag it till when they were ready to use it. |

Lyoncrescent:Hotel doesn't have to check their CCTV just because you say so, especially when you aren't a relation though. I've never watched anything where someone went missing and the first thing the family does is hassle the hotel for CCTv. But it's all good. |
| Re: Blood Sisters: Ratings And Review (Nigerian Movie On Netflix) by safarigirl(mod): 5:32pm On May 07, 2022 |
Oyehomie:Lol A lot of what was protrayed in that movie is not foreign. It might be foreign to you, but not so much for the incredibly wealthy. It was literally only one detective with a foreign accent and there was a back story to that. The other officers were not forming anything. |

joshuaidibia:You missed something I clearly wrote "If you want to keep the purity of a good watch, don't read this...." That was the disclaimer, and there were others who saw it and elected not to read. Clearly, you either skipped that part or decided the spoilers were worth it. Na review I do, and I never keep it short. I think I have written enough reviews on this site for you to not expect 'short' from me, especially when it is something I either really like or really dislike. I did not even mention my favourite scenes, so, I definitely did not spoil anything, I usually write my favourite lines. Others who went on to comment though, may have dropped spoilers though, but that is expected. Thanks for your input though, and yes, I love movies. |

fluffybaby:Tina Mba/Ireti Doyle would have done the same thing, because that is the demeanor expected of the character. She did have an associate, remember Zack Orji...she was just mostly isolated...but that is the character being played |
