Go for a Private Uni and pick Nursing, Medlab or Pharmacy. If your Parents are not well to do. Start preparing now ahead of next year. Nor go study Mumu courses like Physiology and Biochemistry. They have no prospect in Nigeria aside using them for DE as a means to further in Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy.

If you are aspiring for an international MSc by scholarship and working abroad, go for a STEM course.

As a non-STEM graduate outside Nigeria, I wish I had studied a STEM course.

My piece of advice: don't study either Mass communication or Law. Find another course that you think you will be fine with in the future. These two courses especially Law just carry name for head. Except you want to end up becoming criminal lawyer

Who are your parents, that they are to pay fees isn't a reason they should choose a course of their choice for you to study... Go where your strength lies

Do law. For whatever reason they want you to study mass comm, you can still be that in future with a law degree but you can never be a legal practitioner in future without a law degree.

Just study the one on ur mind ..

I wanted to study political science
But I listen to my uncle who insisted i studying political science education..

Although I don't regret studying pos education..

But wish I was a pure political science student,
That way I will not stress my self too much because I love political science course

To cut the story short I am yet to score below 65 in any political science course but struggle with education courses and borrowed once ..

My dear, go ahead with your choice please.....
Try convincing them and if they still remain adamant about it, talk to someone they both respect to help you talk to them....
There was a time i was in this situation too, thank God i stick to me choice, now they are happy of the man i am becoming with the choice i made.

Go for mass communication..... don't get restricted with law

Law with all the stress and chambers are paying peanut.
Mass comm. is okay, you have options of Print/Broadcast/Advertising and Public Relations.
Focus your eyes on Advert and PR, during holiday volunteer in Advert company (in Lagos Ikeja GRA or Victoria Island google them). Open Coursera and youtube to learn digital marketing.
Mass comm is not only about journalism, forget media houses no good pay. Learning digital marketing combined with an internship you will be a hotcake for a good company in corporate branding.

For now, try and learn social media management, you can start with the small business owner and handle their social media pages ,another side hustle for you in school so unnecessary pocket money demand will reduce.
