I see your concerns and I empathize with them all.

But let me ask you one question, just only one question and the answer you give me can change my perspective about this sit at home issue

Apart from this ongoing sit at home exercise in the south east what other means can ipob use to push their secessionist agenda towards the federal government and at the same time register their displeasure concerning the illegal kidnapping of MNK from Kenya?

Remember igbos have fewer numbers in the House of Representatives seats

Also keep in mind that all the prior protests were met with bloodshed from the Nigerian government soldiers

Also keep in mind that according to you OUR POLITICIANS CAN NOT BE TRUSTED

I await your answer to my singular question above

If I may help you answer the question by yourself do you think the current sit home and the various activities of the IPOB in the SE that subjects the people to hunger, destroying the business and the economy of the ordinary people, killing the same people you claimed you want to create a new nation for and destroying property in the igbo land is the best to realise the secession and registered your displeasure?

You want the FG to listen and attend to your needs by killing, destroying, and bringing hardship to the same people you claim to fight for undecided

ipob have made numerous statements distancing themselves from what’s happening in the east today, besides waving flags and chanting hymns on the streets only earned them bullet holes from the government soldiers in the past so?

You want to break-out as a result of marginalization but you're not allowed to, and you believe the best way is through destruction
deliberate and systematic marginalization is a good enough reason to want secession isn’t it?

Okay, ask yourself this, has the FG had sleepless nights since the carnage started
yes they do, till tomorrow they still will have sleepless nights about it and that’s the truth they don’t want you to know

If there are good health care centers, roads, electricity, potable water, security, companies and job opportunities etc, which are basic amenities, we wouldn't be hearing of all these.
true true

Another round of elections are coming, the people should vote for men and women who don't only have good development plans but will actually develop their respective states irrespective of party affiliation, into the governors' positions.
Also, hold them accountable if and when they do otherwise.

I wouldn't mention the LGs Chairmen because they're under the state governments. PMB tried to separate them together with states assembly but the state governors came together to fight it. So the LGs Chairmen only 'work' with the little given to them by their governor.

everyone knows that elections aren’t free and fair in Nigeria, take the case of imo state and it’s Supreme Court governor as a case study

Biafra will NEVER happen even under an Ibo President.
that is left for you and I to see

SE states will NEVER automatically turn to Dubai under an Ibo President.
still left for you and I to see

ALL politicians are only concerned and fight for themselves. They only come together irrespective of political affiliations when they feel threatened and play party cards when they want to use the people.

i am happy we both agree to this basic fact together

The same Kanu can make you see good things in the SE states where there are wrongs and likewise, see bad where there are good.
he has a huge following so I concur with this observation too

The people 'above' can actually make the people 'below' see whatever and however they want them to see things.

KNOW THESE AND HAVE PEACE.

THERE CAN NEVER BE PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE AND EQUITY ANYWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE

Seems you don't know what mob action means, especially those Almajiri mobs...

Lemme give you an insight, one of my hommie fought out his girl was cheating on him, out of annoyance, he broke the phone he bought for her, the girl went and called his newly police boyfriend to come and arrest my nigga, she changed the story has he smashed her phone and beat her...

Omo, you need to see the action movie that night, 2 Hilux van of fully loaded armed police men stormed out street, All the guys, we mobilised ourselves and said my hommie is going no where even when gunshots was let into no air, nobody moved an inche, I was even shocked I challenged an officer, come see ginger from guys that day, the main bf of the girl collect insults tire, he came to fight for pussy grin even his colleagues was now ashamed of him, the officers knew they couldn't do anything and they all left with shame...

So what are mine saying, never underestimate the power of the masses, they can overthrow and overun anything with numbers even if you have all the weapons in the world...

Those officers knew the only way to save the Deborah girl is to start shooting at those boys, and both of us knew the endpoint and what that would have led to...Even when criminals are caught and prepared for jungle justice, the boys will blatantly refuse to handover such person to the police even when they arrive at the crime scene earlier enough, this is because they are many and police will have difficulties in dislodging them...

S.E is currently at the mercies of illiterates who doesn't even know the consequences of their actions at the long run...
I've faced such a mob before in the same northern Nigeria but not alone. Those officers could have saved the girl if they wanted. I understand why they didn't save her even if some would have wanted to save her. The reason is simply the same reason why no Christian soldier has been successful in carrying out a coup in the history of Nigeria. Armed men can quash any mob if they're well equipped and morally justified in their mission. Deborah's case was ambivalent. Some policemen believed she deserves to be killed so there's no united moral justification to save hence she was murdered in cold blood.

Like I said the sit-at-home affects umu igbos and has nothing on the FG, there should be another way to send a critical message to the FG not killing our people and destroying our region. How that is hard for you and many others to understand is beyond me .

Operation Python dance brought the sit-at-home decision. Thousands of Igbo youths were murdered in cold blood by the Nigerian military without them committing any crime. Most of the friends and families of the innocent victims took an oath to avenge the death of their loved ones hence are fighting the security agencies and the political structures that made their death possible. That's what is happening in the East.

Call for justice or remain dumb. I also hate violence to the core.

NB: If the boys didn't take up arms more Igbo youths would have died by hundreds of thousands in Python dances 4 to 45 by now.

You want to dissociate Ipob from killings and destruction in the SE, who are those that celebrates on twitter and other social media and urge them on when security personnels are killed and government properties destroyed

As for the "free and fair elections" you mentioned, I agree with you that there are no free and fair elections which is not just in Nigeria but believe me when I say that there's only a limit to which elections can be manipulated. There's no way where a more than 80% of votes in favour of a candidate can be upturned. Anambra state is a good example.

Even the people who are marginalized are not United enough to turn down carrots dangled at them by the politicians.

Our youths, mothers and fathers are still the ones beating drums and dancing for them.

If and when the youths and the oppressed are ready, things will change for good but it won't be by killing and destruction of properties.

What do you think will happen if on the day of the different parties presidential primary elections students, lecturers and NLC members come together and block the roads leading to venues for elections

Do you think the leaders will still remain silent

We all know that even the people crying cannot be exempted when corruption is mentioned because they will rather collect money that will sustain them for a period of time and remain silent.

Even if Biafra comes right now, there will still be; beggers in the SE
Those crying of marginalization etc

Like I earlier stated, the problem is bigger than and beyond Biafra.

Why do I have a feeling that you just sounded like UGM apologists? How would he face governance when people are being killed and institutions are being burnt down on daily basis? those who celebrate on twitter and other social media are THE PEOPLE who were brutalized and marginalized by the same security forces and the government in the past, they saw the UGM as a people taking vengeance on their collective enemies so as they say ‘an enemy of my enemy, is my friend’, please don’t blame ipob for it because right from the beginning they have been vocal about their not being affiliated with the UGM in the south east. DO YOU HAVE PHYSICAL VERIFIABLE PROOF THAT UGM IS IPOB?

As for the "free and fair elections" you mentioned, I agree with you that there are no free and fair elections which is not just in Nigeria but believe me when I say that there's only a limit to which elections can be manipulated. There's no way where a more than 80% of votes in favour of a candidate can be upturned. Anambra state is a good example.

the people already have a bias against elections in Nigeria and the south east especially, I really do not know what can be done to change this perception among our people but one thing I know is that A PRECEDENCE MUST BE SET by the government first which the people can use as a reference point for future elections

Even the people who are marginalized are not United enough to turn down carrots dangled at them by the politicians.

Our youths, mothers and fathers are still the ones beating drums and dancing for them.

true true, it’s a generational decay which can only be handled and weeded by fire by force. That’s why the sit at home exercise, though injurious to the people has to be continued so as to install the sense of self reflection into our people to let them understand that we can’t go on as we used to and something must GIVE for other things to move ahead

If and when the youths and the oppressed are ready, things will change for good but it won't be by killing and destruction of properties.

remember that these useless ugm only started by killing federal government forces but then the same government soldiers came and started killing unarmed innocent civilians, framing them up as ipob members and BURNING THEIR COMMUNITIES as a form of revenge. Is that how your government should have handled the issue? Now see the fallout

What do you think will happen if on the day of the different parties presidential primary elections students, lecturers and NLC members come together and block the roads leading to venues for elections

of course they will be shot at by the soldiers, did you expect anything else to happen? If you did then I’d say you’re extremely naive

Do you think the leaders will still remain silent

They have always been silent, both those from the south east and those from the federal level. The only time they were making moves to make things better was when the talks and debates concerning RESTRUCTURING was flying left and right on social media and on the airwaves. But it ended the very day MNK was kidnapped from Kenya and brought back here. Now ask yourself, why? Isn’t that akin to self deception by our political class? People have seen through their shenanigans and are indeed tired of it

We all know that even the people crying cannot be exempted when corruption is mentioned because they will rather collect money that will sustain them for a period of time and remain silent.

unfortunately that is the sorry situation of our country. The masses are ready to sell their birthright for a plate of food. That is why things were better during the military regime and failings during democratic rule in Nigeria. Our citizenry needs a TOUGH HAND to herd them into doing the right things at the right time. That’s why sometimes when I think of this sit at home I shake my head but realize it’s the ONLY way to make the people protest in UNISON for a singular reason and I keep calm

Even if Biafra comes right now, there will still be beggers in the SE
Those crying of marginalization etc

it’s normal and has been so since time immemorial. Even in Luxembourg there are beggars and people registering their displeasure over one government policy or another

Like I earlier stated, the problem is bigger than and beyond Biafra.
but under the Biafra geopolitical zone and government the leaders will be closer to the people and align better with their issues based on religion, language and location hence speeding up resolution and policy advancements that will benefit the masses. Unlike when a sokoto state man tries to govern aba

But

It’s the ONLY available solution to the hard headed federal government so it’s the reason it’s being adopted

It would have been a solution to getting the government at the centre attention if all this is having effect on the national interest. The Niger Delta militants were able to get the FG government attention because they targeted the pipeline.

Sitting out, killing and destroying in the igbo land is like drinking poison and at the same time wishing it kills your enemy.

If the IPOB will get FG attention they should go to where they are in Abuja and at the same time quit cowardice and own up to any havoc they committed not their usual pattern of denying their deeds.
