You made a bold claim church Fathers we’re Roman Catholic, so are the ones I mentioned above also Roman Catholic?

Did Roman Catholic Church exist in the 1st , 2nd century?

We were talking about Catholic, not Catholic Church, or don’t you know the difference?

It means just one thing. Read slowly.

Read your screenshot slowly again. It means two things.

When “Or” is introduced in a sentence, basic English… multiple options are introduced.

It means A (gathering of the whole army to make an announcement) OR B(a meeting to make some decisions)

Basic O’ Level English

Yes, send me a link where there was “Christianity” in 33AD before Constantine messed it up.

What exactly is your argument? That there were no Christians in existence from 33AD up to when Emperor Constantine showed up?

Was the Roman Empire persecuting ghosts?

Read up Foxe’s Book of Martyrs

Now I’m 100% sure you’ve not read the book before saying this.

It gives an account of martyrdom of Christians from the Apostles and early believers in the 1st century (who are obviously not Protestants) all the way to 18th century or so.

Enjoy

That’s a lie. When did Jesus die that it was given “Christians” account in 1st century?

You’ve asked for a source, I gave you.
Jesus was crucified in the 1st century. Or do you need to do a google search of what “1st century” means?

The source never mentioned that Christianity started in 33AD, is that the only source where it is written?

After how many years when Jesus died was Christianity established and the New Testament complied and canonized?

Nope, don’t shift the goalpost. The first church was established in Jerusalem the same year Jesus was crucified, resurrected and ascended.

To be precise, 40 days after his ascension…on the day of Pentecost, 3,000 souls were baptised and added to the fold.

Acts 2 v 41;
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Winners Chapel undecided

On a more serious note, Churches were named after the cities or towns they were resident at.

So the first church in this context is the Jerusalem church.

I’m not referring to church in the Ancient Greek context.

Continuing from where I stopped, that explains Paul’s letters addressed to the congregation of believers in a particular city. Or the letters of John to the seven churches in Revelation 1 and 2

Was it not Tertulian that referred to them as “Chrestian”?

The residents at Antioch labelled the believers “Christians” however, the believers actually called themselves “followers of the way”.

Apostle Paul’s narrative in the book of Acts

Roman Catholic was birthed from a mixture of Roman paganism and doctrines from the early church. Kicked off after Constantine became the emperor.

Origen, Ireneaus and Polycarp lived and died before Constantine…so they are not Roman Catholic. They are church fathers quite alright, but not Roman Catholic

Apostle Paul’s narrative in the book of Acts

It was Tertulian that laballed them “chrestian”, and they were previously called “nazarene”. This Tertulian also created the trinity concept

“Followers of the way” dem dey speak English that time too?

Apostle Paul narrative are you sure? Or maybe it’s Catholic Epistle or Pauline epistle narrative.
