There's a huge market for second hand building materials, including wooden planks and boards. For someone who wont like to continue using the old boards, it could easily be sold. I have heard costs like N600 for one old board in second hand markets.

The most important thing is keeping the boards in good conditions, conditions good enough to attract a good price for it. Some people use nylon sheets to keep the boards separated from water and cement, some remove them and pack them neatly after pulling out nails from the old wood.

At this site, we have started laying blocks at the top of the lintel beams, these are the blocks we will play before the parapet and roofing of this house.........

3 blocks on internal walls, 2 blocks on external walls, the parapet beam will make it 3.

We built some temporal stairs to ease our materials supply to the other wing of this building........

Topping blocks on more lintels in more flats............
