Hello, I tried filling a Ds 160 Form and immediately after choosing the Embassy on the first page, the page automatically refreshes and asks me to select embassy again but this time the drop list of embassy doesn't come up

This has been a recurring problem despite using different browsers I have used before.

Has anyone experienced this before? If yes, please how did you go about it?

Almost everybody experience(s) this same issue while filling the DS160 form. This is due to:
1. There are lots of people trying to fill up the form so making the server too busy and the workload on the sites are affecting some internal cookies
2.The Ceac also uses this to frustrate applicants who are trying to fill up the form
You just need to be persistent and determined to fill the DS160 form. Or better still you can try to do it at midnight or weekend when the server is less busy. Keep trying it and try to save all the pages in other not start again from afresh each time you visit the DS 160 page

Hi,

Where you in the group before? If yes, you need to contact one of the admins and try to resolve why you were banned and why you want to be back in the group. If not, try the link again. Copy the whole thing, remove the spaces and paste in your browser and hit go. If you have a telegram account, it works.

If the purpose of your visit falls within the classified emergency reasons, you'll be able to get an early appointment date, as long as you can show proof. I got emergency appointment approved within one hour.

For Lagos, you can't park close to the embassy. There are car parks close by but you will need to walk down maybe 200meters. Maybe it's less, I was in heels. You can't go in with your cellphone either. If you are dropping documents, they don't mind. But to have access into the consular office, you can't have your phone. Best to keep it in the car.

Pls my sister had submitted her ds160 form since last year and her appointment schedule date is july 2022, someone was telling her that she need to update her ds160form before going for the appointment, pls I would like confirm how true is that and can a failure to do that up to this moment affect her chance of getting the visa.

THERE IS THIS rule about ds 160form not being older than 6months....best to err on the side of caution-- no big deal in filling a new ds-160 form and updating your profile. there is a way you can save the old info and use it to populate the new one
