Sometimes the alterations in the information is not deliberate but occur as a result of depreciation in the original information through the communication line, impatient along the communication line, use of different words other than the one used by previous persons that pass the information down. There is one short video by an Indian man or so, if you watch it, you will understand it better.

Details get missing or distorted as it passes from person to person. Also some people don't even get the proper story before they start telling tales.

Many would PROUDLY demonstrate that they take their religious education indoctrination as superior to their formal education. Yes, the Christians too; not just Muslims. That speaks volumes about how poor their education is.

There are very few that go through Nigeria's education system and still come out with good mental reasoning abilities nowadays.
