how sure are you, to have conclude that your sister is HIV positive? Have you guys been to the hostiptal to ascertain her health and medical conditions?

HIV is when you have the virus in your blood with no symptoms. From the symptoms you gave described, your sister may have AIDS meaning her immunity has dropped considerably. She needs to be seen by a doctor urgently and they will start her on medications. It is possible for her to improve. Find out the nearest government hospital that provide this service. It is unlikely a private hospital will, so don't waste your time.

With regards to your question, HIV/AIDS is not contagious. You can live in the same house with your sister. It is only transmitted my exchange of bodily fluids particularly sex or anything that involves her blood getting into another person's body.

1st things 1st, take her to the hospital to determine if the HIV has reached AIDS. They will help you manage the situation and tell you how to live with her condition.

Except you're planning to sleep with your sister, this question is insensitive and unnecessary. HIV is not an airborne disease neither can one get it through body contact, just take your sister to the hospital and look after her. With proper medication, she will look healthy despite having the virus.
