Lol. Maybe you are sending to groups that make it difficult for you to reach them without setting up an SPF or DMARC records. I do edit my mails after scrapping and remove mails that are pointless. Sometimes I even visit the sites by looking at their mail addresses just to be sure they fall into the city and service I scrapped for.

This man yesterday told me his offer was $250, told him to pay $300 and he ghosted. I imported lead for $250 1 hour later and he paid. And there was one I told this same thing two days ago and she went ahead to click BIN at $450. But it's still safe either ways.

There is something about that niche and my mails not hitting their inbox. I can't seem to figure it out yet. I never have this issue with other niches.

It's a very good question. There are different reasons but the most important is for upgrade.

1. For upgrade.
Most start-ups are financially constrained when setting things up so they may not be able to afford the best name for their business. The next best thing to do in such cases would be to register lesser extensions or add prefixes/suffixes to find available names. They could even decide to go for a different name entirely from the keyword they would have loved to use. Facebook started as The Facebook, Nike was formerly called Blue Ribbon Sports, Xiaomi upgraded to mi.com, etc. There are many of those upgrades every month which doesn't make the news.

2. Traffic
Some domain names which has been used in the past has good traffic. If such domains are redirected to a new website, they will help the domain gain visitors especially if the contents on the referring domain is related to what the new website offers. For example, if Nairaland.com were to shut down and the domain is redirected to a blog like lindaikeji, the traffic the referring domain provides alone will make Linda Ikeji's website the most popular among Nigerians. More visitors means more money.

3. Authority
A good domain conveys authority in that industry. Amazon is a top brand already but they have some very good one-word domains redirecting to their website as well. Which would you trust more between shoes.com and WeSellShoes.com? Having shoes.com redirecting to your e-commerce store for example would make people buy more from you. Some top brands also acquire solid names which can help them diversify in the future. You can also call it brand protection. I think Amazon owns Accept, Look, Exchange, all in dot com.

That aside, having Geo domain names redirecting to your website confirms you as authority in that city who offers that service. Names like AustinPlumber, DallasRealtor, ChicagoDentist, SeattleFlorist, etc. will get snapped up by businesses if they are available even though one of them (realtor) is a trademarked word.

As weird as this sounds, some business owners acquire domain names pitched to them not because they need it but because they would rather other businesses don't have it. No. You just need to change the Name. Cheap's nameservers( Name. Cheap basic DNS) to Dan's (Ns1.dan.com and Ns2.dan.com)

Modified: Just seeing the bolded. What you need to do is to copy your Dan portfolio page URL and forward that Name. Cheap domain to the url.

A little Google search would assist you in doing that. Just Google "NAme. Cheap domain forwarding"
