Good morning. I have previously applied for visa lottery twice, do you think it will be a problem for my interview?

If it is any tips on how to overcome?
Visa Lottery, this means you intend to reside in the US permanently.F1, you must prove your intention to return. These two can't be reconciled.

I suggest you form a convincing story to tell the vo why you would not like to stay in the US again.

bosses in the house look into this.

Good Morning Guys,

I am applying as F1 with my wife as F2. There is something about her work that has changed but I figured there is no way to update DS-160 ref on the Visa portal for dependent(f2) since we are attending interview together.

Anyone with how to go about this?? Or she can just explain during the interview?

Thanks in anticipation

Be chilled and confident during your interview.
Do whatever makes you feel relaxed and confident before your appointment. Maybe gym, run, coffee, pray.
Don't overdo.
Try to hold it as a friendly chat. Not an interrogation.

Chrisoo I also dont know much about this, but i suggest you go with two bank statements (the one on your i-20 and your brother's personal bank statement if he is willing to do that). Explain to the vo and let him/her know your brother is willing to cover the remaining deficit when need arises. Hope this helps.

Hi good evening everyone, I recently got admitted into a university in Arkansas, I’ve been issued an I-20 with august as programme start date but I’ve been unable to get a closer date for interview at the embassy. I’ve paid the SEVIS fee, chosen the available date( April 2023) and requested for emergency date 10 days ago. No response yet, Can anyone help on getting a date please. Thank you
I’d like to be added to the Lagos search groups please. 07040268807
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by chrisoo(m): 2:33pm On Jul 08, 2022
Thanks a lot. Its quite reassuring.
Moshkom:

In the embassy of today, they don’t stress documents ‘seeing’ unlike before, just sound convincing to the VO on who is covering your deficit and what he or she does.
So, just get your i20. Even the school won’t care about the duration, just make the deficit available to them and they will give you your i20.
Get your i20 and move to the next stage. Don’t stay long on doing the most average thing.

No Time; No Available Visa Date Outta There.
Shoot!!!

Good Luck Champ!

fees are valid for 12 months

GFavor:

Hmm, Thanks. If the system does not accept it we are left with 2 options, wait for the new passport or apply alone for F1 & when their passport is out they apply for F2. But do we need to pay another Visa fee for the F2.
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by chibertha(f): 3:00pm On Jul 08, 2022
MUST YES

Must passport photo be uploaded on DS160 form or can I bring the passport along on the day of interview?

Use the same you used for your I20 as long as it is not more than 6 months old

Gurus in Nairaland, greetings to you all! Please am relatively new here and will need help. I gained admission for Masters program in Human Resources Management in a University in USA. Precisely in Alabama. COA is $43k. My sponsors are my sibling in USA but has a registered company in Naija but no much cash transactions in the company bank account. I was admitted based on the letter from the bank to my school and signed affidavit by my brother. Please what do I do about the bank statement during my visa interview coming up this month? Any good idea will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello house.

I need clarification on this. I was admitted into one of the US universities. I have a deficit of about $20k after getting a RA to cover for the remaining costs.

In covering this deficit, I hope to use my personal savings and that of my parents. However, my mom keeps raw dollars with her which I hope to use to make up for the deficit.

Should I tell her to put the money in my Dom account?
either yours or hers will do
Is there a particular duration which the money should remain in my account before printing my bank statement?
no
Will it raise eyebrows?
except there was no traffic in the account

Meanwhile, I'm supposed to resume this August.

Your advise and contributions will be appreciated.
