Congratulations! Please can you help with the link? Thank you

Dear Vikaosi,
Finally I see someone that speaks same "language" with me..lolz

I've read some posts and I've been confused.. Cost was just $317, as the only fee, unlike the over $3,000 I've been seeing here for Spouse Visa.
Really seem there are different versions of Spouse or Partner Visa. And I also remembered that when my wife and I were applying for it, we changed application 3 times. The first two links were strange and has so many questions and requirements, including the English results or degree and many other things someone has listed earlier here.
But she was like, it can't be those, and later got the link we finally used from a colleague.

And decision was concluded within 3weeks. (Applied on March 29th, went for biometrics on April 5 at Abuja VAC, and got mail that Visa was ready for collection on April 27)

Collected my Visa just this afternoon, and by God's grace, it's approved.

So, it actually seems there are different versions of Spouse/partner Visa, for different reasons or benefits I believe

I also pray that those still awaiting decision would receive theirs soonest...with favourable decision.
Cheers all

EDITED: And no, we didn't upload any single picture nor chats nor any form of receipts or bills

Hi House, i need confirmation before we start the application

We want to apply for hubby’s children currently in Nigeria to join us in UK. He currently is on his 2nd leg of his spouse visa (5yr route)
Is the Appendix FM Child form the correct form for us?

Thanks

Probably this question has been answered at a point. But pls I need answer again.

Can one use marriage certificate from local Govt development area registry as proof of marriage. Instead of Ikoyi and the other popular ones?

I don’t know if sending a paid email would help, maybe you should look into it but if it doesn’t, then you just have to wait it out, meanwhile, congratulations on the decision that was overturned in your favour, hopefully you will get your collection email soon.

Please how long did you have to wait before you are contacted after your appeal was allowed ?

Hello everyone, please Is there anyone that applied for spouse visa and re-appealed, and the appealed was allowed, the UKVI contacted me to submit my passport and also do another Tuberculosis test, that the decision was overturn. So I submitted both passport and Tb test on the 31st of May,2022. But up till now, I am yet to get feedback from them. Do anyone have an idea how long it takes for them to respond? I was at Tls contact some days ago and I was told to keep checking my email… but it’s frustrating… will be glad if anyone can assist. Thanks.

A marriage certificate (court) is what you can use as proof of marriage and if you like, you can add a few pictures you took on your wedding day.

Go to the search bar on this website and type UK dependant visa and you’ll see the right forum where you can get more information.

Hello everyone,
I did my biometric 22nd Dec, 2021.
I have sent several paid emails and phone calls and a complaint.
Finally, 11th June, 2022 a reply from a paid mail said a decision has been made, contact us again if you do not get your passport 21/06.
Till now still waiting for an email…
Sent more paid email and call was told to still wait for the email.
Don’t know if anyone have experience same issue. Thanks

When you appeal ,you will be notified if your appeal is granted or they want open appeal ( open appeal means your lawyer will go against their decision on ur behalf in court) after 4 weeks you will get a reply from your lawyer if your appeal is allowed or not.

Probably because people haven’t gone through that experience before, and they don’t want to give you the wrong information. You can ask that question in the other forum too, because from what I read it does take a while with appeal processes, that’s even after the appeal has been granted. Some even do a new application (Only from what I have read), if you check the general visa forum am sure they would have answers for you.

Hello, you upload your documents after choosing the TLS center you wish to have the biometrics done. You select if you prefer self upload or the assisted option. Once you’ve selected the option you want, available dates will pop out . If you decide on self upload after picking the date, it takes you to where you can upload your documents. Ensure it’s in pdf format
