I arrived in Canada in January 2022, we applied for a visiting visa for my husband and daughter in January but this was refused in February.

Another application for Open Work Permit and visiting visa was submitted in February, we noticed eligibility started today for the OWP but the Visiting visa for my daughter was denied today with reason - ''the purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application''. My daughter will be 5 in December. Do we need to apply for a study visa for her?

I must also add that we submitted a Visiting Visa application in June for my husband and daughter because he will be on vacation in August, the visiting visas application are still active.

IF IT WAS SENT, THEN MESSAGE IRCC VIA WEBFORM AND EMAIL THE SLIP THEY GAVE YOUR WIFE FOR THE MEDICAL SO THAT IT CAN BE UPDATED TOO FOR YOUR WIFES PPR TO DROP. THEN YOU CAN NOW SEND ANOTHER WEBFORM ATTACHING THE DOCUMENTS THAT @SWEETJJ LISTED AS WELL AS A DETAILED LETTER OF EXPLANATION TOO. ALSO TRY AND GET A PASSPORT FOR THE CHILD ASAP BECAUSE THE PROCESS IS MORE THAN AN HERCULEAN TASK.

I seek for informations on reapplying for my SOWP.My previous application which i applied from Qatar was refused based on..
Current employment situation
Personal assets and financial status
Immigration status.
I have resigned from my Job in Qatar and i'm fully back to Nigeria..Please how do i go about a new application to avoid another refusal as regards to my refusal note.
Do i need to get a job in Nigeria to address the current employment status? Note that i had a business i was running for years but i only succeeded in registering it with CAC just last month.

In addition to what had been said, be in touch with the hospital and request that they confirm to you when your wife's medical results were forwarded to IRCC. With that, you're sure the results are already with IRCC. In that case, you need not be overly bothered with the deadline of 30 days. It appears that that IRCC takes their time with spouses' application than they do with children.

That means you had two active VV for your daughter?
If yes, it means you still have another active VV for your daughter after the denial. I will suggest, you use webform to address all the issues raised and get them corrected using the application you submitted in June

Hello,
I'd suggest you relax. The medical will be updated for your wife's application too. Congratulations for the birth of your new baby. I'd also suggest you do not wait. Send a webform attach a letter of explanation, birth certificate and if possible an updated statement of account to show you have enough funds for the new addition, get a passport for the baby and add his/her application. Getting a medical request is a positive sign. Congratulations in advance.
