"Suddenly "of course that is allowed" as if have a ticket to further a trip from the UK is a return back to place of departure, yet you don't see your shallowness?

If I changed my grounds point to me...

I repeat, With or without a return ticket you can enter the UK for visiting.....whatever evidence you come with at the border is on the visitor.

UNCLE as LONG as you HAVE a VISIT Visa to the UK or any other COUNTRY you mist show A RETURN TICKET they would always ask at the border PLEASE do NOT mislead anybody

It's ONE of the criteria for VISIT visa

I don't get you all, what is eff about it, if the post intended to visit China after her visit to the husband from the UK and has ticket to further the trip, would that cause her a denial at the UK entry? No it may not, because she would have demonstrated her ability to leave the UK after her visit, but if she showed such itinerary to a bank she would not be given PTA as there is no evidence of a return back to Nigeria.

STOP CONFUSING UR SElF ONWARDS travel means there is a ticket out of The UK at a Point in time and that's also very fine some pple do multiple trips and it's allowed

If you need a PTA, follow instructions as on form A website and visit your bank to get one
During your departure, arrival and exist from the UK, have with you evidence you deem important for successful admissions into and exist from the UK.
Enjoy your trip...don't mind that garbage in-garbage out fellow..
Thanks

NO it isn't must. It is at the discretion of the border officer to ask for proof of whatever and in-line with the UK home office policy and that 6 out of 10 visitors get asked that don't mean it is a must thing to travel with.

However, to process a PTA in Nigeria it is a must perquisite.
at least as of the time of this post.

Though I should state here, the onus is on the visitor to show that he/she would leave the UK and her borders, at most within 180days on a visiting visa, i.e with/out a valid return ticket just as was demonstrated in the visa application process.

It's a must to have return ticket on tourist visa, I have seen or heard of people deported at the point of entry for having just a one way ticket.the interpretation of one way ticket to the border officer is that you are not coming back again and the reason why they often request for flight itinerary at the border when not too sure of the passenger.

That i added to a post that to get a PTA one must have a return ticket was confusing? Or a simple question of source the home office states you must have a return ticket to visit the UK? All I asked direct me to source of info. I don't get you all....
There are countries that have that crystal clear to travel on a tourist or visitor's visa to have such, but has UK home office that?, then kindly pls refer me to the link.

Entering any country's border the onus is on the visitor that he or she would leave after the visit. That being with/out a return ticket is on the visitor and other evidences he or she would be asked at point of entry. But to get PTA in Nigeria you must have a return ticket..

This fellow is even more shallow.
Even making it worse by trying to change scenario that the lady has a ticket to China now. Why change the discourse of the misnomer you were actually spewing in the 1st place?
Of course that is allowed. it shows she has plans to leave and that is all the rest of the house was trying to say.
I wont even waste more time replying to such a person before he drags me down to his level. I refuse to roll in the mud.
Bye house.

I guessed he is confused about the whole thing regarding return ticket, he is contradicting himself with his statements.

A friend of mine got 10 years ban from Uk because he forgot to state that he had Uk visa refusal when filling his application.
Please I want to ask if he has a chance to appeal or what can he do please.

He didn't forget. Also because he had changed passport he probably felt it will not be picked up. He will simply wait 10 years.

Aww bless him, has this friend of yours dementia or any health issues that causes one to be forgetful?. Does the refusal letter state he can appeal?
He may have to wait 10years..

With due respect to you, I was not responding to her post, but yours and requirements to process a PTA.

You may wish to educate me pls, is there anywhere the UK home office states if you are going for a visit to the UK and its borders, that you must book a return ticket?
Whatever reason and wherever you are headed to, if you want to process the PTA in Nigeria, you need a valid return ticket.(even persons with study visa who could stay for a longer period needed a return ticket to process, so i don't get what you on about visit or stay). And I suppose even if you had a visa that permits you to stay, if you needed a PTA for your trip, you needed to provide your financial institution with a valid return ticket....

Thanks
I have travelled widely, and I can tell you for free that no airline, I repeat, no airline will board you on visit visa without a return ticket. Even if you’re visiting multiple countries, you must have a return ticket back to Nigeria. The conditions for an airline or travel agent to sell a one way ticket is as follows.
1. You are a citizen of your final designation country - no visa needed
2. You have a resident permit of your final designation country - appropriate visa is still required
3. You have a immigrant visa to final designation country
Only condition 1 is certain. Some airlines may not sell a one-way ticket even with condition 2 & 3.

Beside before you depart Nigeria. Your passport information and flight itinerary are uploaded to your country of final designation.

10 years ban. No appeal. This is a lesson for applicant not disclosing their previous refusal. They use your biometric data to check your previous applications. So change of passport or name will not change your ten finger prints.

When I applied for the visa I told them I’m staying from 20th of June to July 20th,my travel date has passed now I book my flight from 4th August to 4th September is the date okay? Do I need to get a new invitation letter from my husband? Or I should use same letter I submitted though the previous letter has arrival date as 20th June and leaving July not August and September

You do not need a new invitation letter. Just be familiar with your husband address in the UK or his mission in the UK. The home office may ask. You can carry along with you a copy of his passport data page and visa or his BRP card. You are good to go. Enjoy your trip.

I've learnt a lot on this platform by reading replies to questions being asked here. I also have other platforms I get knowledge from about UKVI. But I must say the rate at which people jump at question and find the slightest means to throw insults at people is becoming irritating. No one is an island of knowledge and I think the earlier we understand this the better. T for thanks

I am about applying for a renewal UK Visit Visa. I was refused a German Visa in 2019. When I applied for a UK Visit Visa in 2020 I decleared this refusal. My question is, since I was granted a UK Visit Visa in 2020, do I need to declare the German Visa refusal each time I apply for a renewal UK Visa?

Yes for every application you will submit for any type of visa type. If ask about past visa refusals and date. Please declare them. If you do not, and its discovered, you will be ban for 10 years.

Sure you can carry his british passport data page. Just in case. At least know his address and telephone number. As a first timer going to the UK, you will be asked questions at POE. A likely scenario is this:
POE- What is your business in the UK?
You- To visit my husband
POE- How long will you be staying?
You - 4 weeks or 30 days
POE - Do you know his address?
You- Yes
POE- What is his status in the UK!
You- British Citizen, show them his passport data page
There could be other follow-up questions by the POE just to convince themselves that you’re are not planing to over stay. Pleas be prepared for any questions at POE.

Do your wife have a UK visa? If not allow her to apply for her visa jejeli to go write her exams and come back. Doing a joint application is risky and may jeopardize her chances unless you have an impressive travel history to ‘A’ list countries. Your profile (self-employed, no payslips, no tax clearance) is a immigration risk. However, If you wife apply alone, she will use you, her job and the kids if any as home ties.
