Sure you can carry his british passport data page. Just in case. At least know his address and telephone number. As a first timer going to the UK, you will be asked questions at POE. A likely scenario is this:
POE- What is your business in the UK?
You- To visit my husband
POE- How long will you be staying?
You - 4 weeks or 30 days
POE - Do you know his address?
You- Yes
POE- What is his status in the UK!
You- British Citizen, show them his passport data page
There could be other follow-up questions by the POE just to convince themselves that you’re are not planing to over stay. Pleas be prepared for any questions at POE.

Okay thanks

I initially tried not to contribute to this debate but with the arrogance in complete ignorance displayed by this person. I'm forced to comment before he/she will go and mislead innocent souls.

Doubt if such a person would even be lifted from Nigeria because the airlines that lift such a person with visiting visa without a return ticket is liable to a fine.

Visitors should beware, allow the guy to dance naked in the market square by him/herself but don't get yourself misinformed.

leef2022:

NO it isn't must. It is at the discretion of the border officer to ask for proof of whatever and in-line with the UK home office policy and that 6 out of 10 visitors get asked that don't mean it is a must thing to travel with.

However, to process a PTA in Nigeria it is a must perquisite.
at least as of the time of this post.

Though I should state here, the onus is on the visitor to show that he/she would leave the UK and her borders, at most within 180days on a visiting visa, i.e with/out a valid return ticket just as was demonstrated in the visa application process.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by temodent(m): 7:57am On Jul 22, 2022
No he doesn't have dementia or any of such my guess is that he must have been wrongly advised by somebody like someone who said "you don't need a return ticket to travel on a visitor's visa" that since he had changed his passport, the record of his earlier denial has been wiped off.

I come in peace.

leef2022:

Aww bless him, has this friend of yours dementia or any health issues that causes one to be forgetful?. Does the refusal letter state he can appeal?
He may have to wait 10years..

No mind the poser, No airline will board you on a one-way ticket on a visitor visa. The default ticket options on every airline websites or travel agents is a return ticket booking. Airlines pays fines for carrying illegal immigrants or bear cost of deportation. My comment using flight ticket was I known that the lady has a return ticket as she clearly stated that she was going on a visit.

Do your wife have a UK visa? If not allow her to apply for her visa jejeli to go write her exams and come back. Doing a joint application is risky and may jeopardize her chances unless you have an impressive travel history to ‘A’ list countries. Your profile (self-employed, no payslips, no tax clearance) is a immigration risk. However, If you wife apply alone, she will use you, her job and the kids if any as home ties.
thank you so much. I'll sit down jeje

Yes do the followings.
1. Open a company bank account separate it from personal account
2. You may wish to pay or not pay yourself, if you do, let such transaction be documented and clearly initiated from your company account.
3. Ensure that your company has active status on CAC website
4. Provided documentation for Tax payments/assessment for your company and you.
5. If you have properties like house, land etc. prepare to submits it too.
Any documents that demonstrate to the ECO that you will return back to Nigeria should be submitted. If your wife get her visa, the chances that you will also get it when you apply alone is bright. However, you must have a good reason to visit the UK. I hope this will help.

So I was refuse visa yesterday. Reasons do not make sense to me. Yesterday was the graduation ceremony and he waited for 8weeks before refusing the visa. The officer claimed I didn't explain spending more money. However, I submitted a cover explaining all debits and credits on my bank statement for the 6 month period. To me his reasons are vague and flimsy and I'll like to complain. Do anyone know how I can go about it?

This People just look for flimsy excuse sometimes to deny you.....

The ECO added your debits in a month and it was more than N60K you stated as expenditure amount in a month. You did not provide other sources of income. The refusal is technical as the ECO does not consider your relationship to your cousin enough reasons for you to want to spend your income to attend a graduation ceremony. It is well.

Mr Traveller, this is a lie. Except you are specifically referring to only departures from Nigeria.
ekpotek:

I have travelled widely, and I can tell you for free that no airline, I repeat, no airline will board you on visit visa without a return ticket. Even if you’re visiting multiple countries, you must have a return ticket back to Nigeria. The conditions for an airline or travel agent to sell a one way ticket is as follows.
1. You are a citizen of your final designation country - no visa needed
2. You have a resident permit of your final designation country - appropriate visa is still required
3. You have a immigrant visa to final designation country
Only condition 1 is certain. Some airlines may not sell a one-way ticket even with condition 2 & 3.

Beside before you depart Nigeria. Your passport information and flight itinerary are uploaded to your country of final designation.

Please don't assume what you aren't sure of. I provided every proof and supporting documents as needed and I explained every credit and debit in my account. Plus I enough funds in my account and stated I'll be attending graduation and a mini vacation. If he had issues of income of proof of relationship he would have started so. It's very easy to deny based on those reasons you started above.
Denials are hard. Sorry.
Why state 60,000 naira as your monthly expenses when it is more than that? In ECO’s words consistently more every month. The form is straightforward. keep the cover letter and explanation one side. What was the reason for declaring lower? They said you did not give a reliable financial picture.
Probably your income is low or borderline so you declared low expenses to sort of ‘catch ground’ but your bank statements showed otherwise.
Plus having enough funds in your account as you state is not the reason for them to grant you the visa.
