Good evening
Sure your day was good
Pls I have few questions:
Is there any WhatsApp group that discussed and share updates on interview dates ?
Do you have any info or clue on possible period when nee dates will be released ?
How do you find out whenever dates are released by the consulate.
Have been searching for date for august or September but its been frustrating.
Thanks in anticipation.

Yes,
There are date searching groups on WhatsApp.
I don't think anyone has knowledge of when dates are released. We just keep searching.

So far, dates have been released for two consecutive Sundays in Lagos.

Thank you very much as I anticipate response
Let your brother write a standardized test like GRE and TOEFL, then apply to affordable universities that offer his course. If admitted,he should apply for F1 visa and book and appointment, go for interview, get approved, book cheap airline and japa.

Good evening all,
I want to ask if its safe to go for visa interview more than 120 days to class start date? Has anyone attempted interview more than 120 days to start date and got an approval?. What happened is that the earliest date I'm able to schedule at the moment is August 17 while classes resumes August 15, I contacted school to give me a week extension but they declined and asked me to defer to spring instead.

I couldn’t get an expedited appointment for my fall resumption, I had to request to defer my admission till spring so as to reapply for EA.

Please add me.
Also we need more transcript from some of us who has been interviewed. Or if there is a link in where to get them kindly drop it here.

Please , Thank you.

Contact U.S Embassy in Nigeria not your school and pay your deposit include health insurance to the school.

Good afternoon all
Kindly give advise on this
I have worked for 7 years and saved about $4k towards masters degree also my sponsor(uncle) has enough fund in his statements of account to cover for the COA
my question is should I use my uncle’s name only as the sponsor or include mine??
Which of these would give me a better leverage.

Do you have GA toward your master and made deposit to the school then you can think who to sponsor you. IF you have your admission letter and I-20, you must pay an enrollment deposit to hold your spot. with your enrollment deposit you will enhance your Visa process by having a spot for the academic year.

Hey guys,

With a sad heart I regret to announce the passing of one of our long-time members and contributors, anikemoses, who passed away last month. He has been laid to rest. He was a graduate of Troy University and was very active on this thread between 2015 and 2018.

My very good friend, paddy, business partner, crypto expert etc. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Sorry about the loss and May he find absolute peace.

He was active this month.
Both of you were regular here.

Well, I'd advise you go with your uncle as sole sponsor, especially if your deficit is far larger than your savings - assuming you didn't get any funding. However, if it's not more than $2k dollars, then be your sponsor.

Combination of sponsors is not always easy to defend.

thanks a lot brother, the date situation is frustrating, my EA application for more than two weeks has not been replied, the follow up email I sent was replied with the usual "exercise patience" so I'm still just there, hoping for the best, thanks for reaching out though.

Be steadfast, brother. May the best come to you.

I guess you can...But the consulate/embassy won't issue you a visa until at least 120 days to your program start date.

Hello everyone,

So I have a question regarding visa dates. My brother was denied his visa early this month. We re-applied, but getting a date has been an issue. The portal for Abuja keeps saying "there are no appointments available".

Is anyone in the same situation? Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thank you for your response.
