But...I'm not sure 'number of billionaires' is a metric that shows how 'well' a country is doing. The United States is based on an idea: hard work brings financial (and other) reward. In practice though, the country has fallen far short of that ideal - while the US billionaire class is growing, far too many ordinary people work their fingers to the bone with absolutely no hope of getting ahead. The US today is a highly unequal, fractured society that will experience rising social tension in the years to come.

You are kinda right about US becoming tensed in the future. I don't even advice raising kids in the US cos the possibility of them going astray is high when compared with Canada, Norway, Australia, etc.


But why I am focusing more on money making is because I know majority of Nigerians desiring to leave Nigeria for abroad, their number one mission is to make money and possibly become rich, but when they reach their destination country they discover that becoming rich is out of reach for them so they recondition their mind to enjoy the good Healthcare, free education, etc. But they still abhor the developed countries' tax system lol, which makes them miss Nigeria, and wished they ate their cake and still had it lolz




In all, everyone should not have high expectations when planning to migrate, Nigerians should understand that there is no free money anywhere in the world.

1. There are people building wealth in cheaper provinces like Alberta or New Brunswick where houses go for 300k to 400k. In Ontario its like 900k to 1.5m for the average house and you suppose drop 5% deposit for mortgage. Married people or common law guys are able to build wealth too due to combined income. Solution is move to a cheaper province, get married or find a partner.
2 . Cost of living- where in the world is not costly. With all the amenities, free resources, and standard of living why should it be cheap There are many people earning 3700 dols a month but staying in apartments costing 2200 dols. Is that not madness. Some are one 2500 a month but their rent is 1800 lol
3 . Boredom and loneliness- Nigerians move to a cold country and refuse to do what whites do in the winter. Whose fault is that Many ladies from Nigeria have unrealistic expectations and are single to stupor. Whose fault is that Lol

5. Professional jobs- doctors know this before coming and should have explored uk. A friend passed the medical exams in 18months its doable. I totally agree. Those that I know there are doing well. They mostly have good jobs in the key sectors of the economy. Banking, IT, Health etc. All it requires is to take some Canadian exams to fit in properly.

Some choose to be entrepreneurs. One lady chose to open a restaurant after graduation. She has opened a 2nd branch within a short time! I believe that it's different strokes for different folks.

Okay I am calm. Unfortunately there are no luxury apartments going for $1500 per month and I never said that there were LUXURY apartments for that price. A quick search on Kijiji showed high end one bedroom apartments for an average cost of $1500.

If you are really looking to move I would suggest you avoid the housing rental agencies and try to rent directly from the Landlords. Apart from Kijiji (which is where I looked and found) join the facebook groups Toronto apartments and house rentals and Toronto - apartments for rent. Avoid the city centre and look everywhere else in the 25 municipalities that make up the GTA.

i have travelled to 3 different countries last year as it was my official tour by morocco tours hence i stay here just 1 to 2 weeks i have assumed that nigeria canada or any other country have its own beauty and own culture if we compare them with other we will loss their natural beauty their natural culture that suits just on them(in positive) a under developed country and any developed country both have something that is same in them that make them bound each other.
