No matter how many visas (including UK) the person has received, if they've been denied a visa in the past, yet answers NO to the question, it'll lead to automatic refusal. Tell whoever it is to cancel and reapply.

Delays from immigration means my passport will not be ready for me to include in my visa application.

· Does the passport validity of less than 3 months affect my chances of getting a positive visa approval decision by the UK consular who will be reviewing my application for Skilled Worker Visa?

· Are there restrictions to submission of visa application with passport with 3 months or less validity period? I have read through various sources that this might not be a problem if an application is for a tourist visa. I am just wondering if the 2 years skilled worker visa that I will be applying for matters in all of this.

I need your expert advice because I do not want to jeopardize my visa approval chances because of the validity of my passport

I have been paying myself salaries between 400k to 500k for the past one year from my company and my company name is shown in all the credits in my bank statements without no single credit from other accounts. However the ECO wrongly mentioned that they noticed I received money from undeclared source.

Please do you advise I go administrative review?

Try it again around 2 am or so when new dates would have been released. That was how I got dates last week.

Sorry, but wrong advise you've dished out.
The other applicant is yet to attend biometric and do submission of documents. In fact 20 days until this happens.
If indeed the applicant missed out declaring past refusal(especially one issued by a UK consulate) , right thing to do at this time should be cancellation of the application and filling out the application again.

My school also does not issue transcript to individuals except education evaluation organizations. Ecctis gave me an email address to give to my school to upload my official transcript when I asked them if I could submit students copy of my transcript. One of the mistakes we self employed applicants make, is to quote high earnings. This is a big trap, because you will have to defend it. This is why its easier for those working for companies to get visa than self employed. The moment you present yourself as a self employed person, the attention of the ECO moves from your personal account to your business account.

Their aim is to find out if that your business makes enough money to pay the salary you claim to earn. So for someone that earns N5,000,000 annually, it will be expected that your company account will show a turnover of over at least N30,000,000.

Now that you have said your earn N5,000,000, These are the 2 things you must do to get the visa.

1) Audit your business account to show expenses and profit. Present both audit report and bank statement of your company.

2) You will have to pay a progressive tax for 3 years to match your annual income. When you have done this, you will now be issued tax clearance certificate.

When your present the 2 and they are convinced that your business generates enough money, you will have your visa.

Failure to do this, will result in another refusal. But if you do as i have said, you are sure of getting it the next time.

Talking from experience.

You can now easily complain about your visa decision on the UKVI webite. It's a new service and it doesn't cost you any money.

If you want to place yourself on monthly salary then be specific with the amount you earn, don't do 400k last month,450k this month and 500k next month. Include your tax documents and any other information or documents that will show you earn other source of income. Seprerate your salary account from your business account and explain every necessary details in your cover letter if you are attaching both bank account statements for your visa application

To transit through Amsterdam you will need a transit visa unless you have any of the followings:

1. residence permit for a country in the Schengen area, the EU or the EEA.

2. a valid visa for Canada, Japan or the United States of America

3. a valid residence permit issued by Andorra, Canada, Japan, San Marino or the United States of America guaranteeing unlimited return

4. a valid visa or residence permit for the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, St Eustatius or St Maarten).

You need a transit visa if you don’t have any of the above.

September is not a good time to travel for vacation for those folks that are looking for budget tickets because cost of traveling tickets are pricey during this period.

Guys might need to wait till October. You can get a ticket for less than 500k during this period.

Don’t wait till your travel time before looking for tickets. It’s good to book tickets in advance.

Why are u flying thru Amsterdam? And if so you would already have had a transit visa or a reason to do that.... Qatar stopover is DOHA

Sometimes they do multiple stopovers. In such cases the flight tickets maybe be lesser in price with longer layovers at different countries and continents with the same or with a different carrier
