A case of murder. Burns won't produce the kind of blood you are seeing and the position on the body for a phone under a pillow speaks a different story.

I don't know.

Have you gotten an OTA Notification for Android 12?
Not yet, but a friend of mine using same device, got a prompt last month and updated, but it's not popping up on mine yet

Those are taken up by your system and cache files so they can't be deleted

Well, I only visit this thread once in a while. So, honestly, I haven't seen it. I have also just gone through your recent posts and didn't see what I'm asking. I know how stressful repeating the same thing can be, but please kindly explain for the last time.

Yet the size keeps increasing. It will eventually take up all of the phone's storage. I think there should be a way to delete it.

Of course there's a way to get rid of cache files. Download phoenix browser and it will do the job. Even the security app that came preinstalled does it too.

Like Meister has explained part of other files are cache from apps.

They are also things that apps saves that the system doesn't natively support the format. All your WhatsApp backups, stickers etc fall in here.

The lesser your apps the lesser you suffer from this. So make it a habit of manually clearing your Apps Cache. Your browser's are most guilty of these.

Obb files & WhatsApp backups.. major contributors of "others". Use the Cleaner app

I regularly clear cache using the security app and yes it frees up a little space. But just a little. I currently have almost 14gig in that "other files" category that the app doesn't clear.

Thanks.

I have just cleared my cache now, even unwittingly wiped all my WhatsApp data embarassed. The huge "other files" are still there and increasing. So, I'm guessing, like Meister said, I can't get rid of them? I maybe can just slow down the rate of increase by regularly clearing cache from each app?

It clears some cache, but doesn't clear all the "other files".

Maybe you check chrome. Sometimes it's usually the culprit.

Guy this is the case with every phone so it's either you manage it like that or you save up and get at least a 128gb device
