He has the right to say it is his turn in his political party and there is nothing wrong in that. It is only IBOS propaganda that is foolishly manipulating political party statement. It happens locally in political parties all over the world.

Obasanjo till date is the only seating president that contested Primary election to run for second term because Alex Ekwueme demanded to challenge Obasanjo to run for presidency. This is despite the fact that majority of PDP BoT members and NWC settled for Obasanjo as consensus candidate for second term.

If Obasanjo had used his veto as president to manipulate the PDP BoT and NWC members to impose himself as a consensus candidate, the IBOS would have gone for another Biafra war. The IBOS would have cried victimization, marginalization and oppression. Professor Ben Nwabueze and other IBOS constitutional Lawyers would have cried foul and headed to Court on why Alex Ekwueme should be disenfranchised. Alex Ekwueme will never take that. That was why the Primary election was held. Alex Ekwueme was a founding member of PDP.

Is it not unconstitutional for one of the founding leaders of APC to be denied participation in the Primary election? Is it not unconstitutional for few individuals to settle for consensus candidacy against the party constitution. ACN and CPC are the major parties that formed APC. The logo of APC was taking from ACN. If CPC produces the Presidential Candidate in 2014, it is the turn of ACN to produce the Presidential Candidate in 2022. That is Emi lokan.

The IBOS are very confused and frustrated and intimidated. Despite the Bola Tinubu's outburst at Abeokuta with Emi lokan statement, The APC cabal still went ahead with their consensus candidacy which produced Ahmed Lawan as the APC's Presidential candidate. If Emi lokan had not come out, would there have been primary election?

The IBOS wanted APC consensus candidate. They wanted Tinubu to be pocketed and caged. They don't want Tinubu or any Yoruba in the presidency. They know Obi cannot get 10% of the total votes. Their prayers is for Atiku to win.

My major problems is yorubas where votes are shared almost equal between APC and PDP.
