1. Yes
2. I have no idea. I haven't studied in NZ so can't help there.
3. Lots. NZ sits on the Pacific ring of fire and has many active volcanos.
Hmmm @bolded. Any cities in particular to avoid?

Hehe none. The whole of NZ is a volcano waiting to go pop, not to mention earthquakes as and when they happen.

You can get admission without agent

I'm in the process of applying for my masters in finance for February 2023 session in new zealand and I need help with few things
1. Some schools are asking for ECE report of my transcript, how can I get it, or is there a way I can apply without it.
2. University of waikato asked I apply through and agent, I contacted one and haven't gotten any reply, do anyone no how I can apply without the help of an agent.
3. Should I go for institutions, because the universities are expensive and I need to pay tuition ones.
4. Are there scholarship options open for February 2023 intakes.

Hello House,

Is it necessary to pay school fees before applying for visa to NZ (applying with POF)? My wife is applying for a MSc programme. We have other documents.

Thank you

During visa processing, do they also need 6month bank statement?
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by demmy79: 9:00am On Sep 14, 2022
You need to pay deposit base on the instruction on how to pay from your offer letter

Hello everyone,
I am about applying for a masters in information technology program in NZ.

Firstly, I want to find out if I have to show tuition as part of my POF, and if yes, does the tuition amount need to have been with me for up to 6 months before I can show it to Immigration, and use it to pay my school fees.

Maybe, maybe not. There's no guarantee of work. Minimum wage is $19.20 per hour and you can only work 20 hours a week in term time. Check your fees, cost of living and deduct that from whatever you might earn using a baseline of min wage.
Please I'm seeking a PhD admission in one of the uni in NZ. My question is: aside the school fees quoted for a PhD studies in each schools, is there other fees/charges required for my research?
I understand I'll need my living expenses and other cost..I'm only particular about the cost of carrying out my research, is it separate from my school fees?
Please your response will be much appreciated as I need to make a crucial decision about my application.
Thank you

I honestly don't know. However, it is not general practise for universities to charge any additional fees apart from tuition fees. Email the university and ask,

I have some few questions.

I am currently awaiting my admission offer to Lincoln University and I recently got a feedback from the admission team that my admission offer will be out anytime from now. While awaiting the offer. I want to know from those with self funding experience in New Zealand Universities:-

1. Am I going to provide a Proof of fund using the U.K model where after getting admission, I will enroll for cas with the required amount in my account for a month or I will print out three month history of my bank statement immediately the school offers me the admission.

2. I will also love to know anyone currently applying to Lincoln University or already got an admission and going in February 2023 for either masters or PhD.

Go to Immigration New Zealand website and check through the requirements for a student visa. That's where the link is from

Hi Ticha,

Thank you for being helpful.

I just got a PhD admission into Lincoln University New Zealand to resume in February 2023.

I have a sponsor who is my brother, however, I would like to know if he must have the actual NZ$15000 or they are mostly interested in the inflow and outflow of cash in his account.

Also, I would also like to know how many months statement of account I would need to present.

Thank you.

Hello, am going to Lincoln in February 2023 also for my PhD. I will like to connect with you and most especially learn about your visa processing exercise
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by Ticha: 12:42am On Oct 19, 2022
@Soje I'm not sure if I replied to your message.

I see there are a lot of questions around POF and student visas. I did not come here on a student visa and have no idea whatsoever about student visas. I can give guidance and direction on how to survive once in New Zealand i.e. on cost of living, places to live, where work opportunities might abound. Anything else, no idea. I'll essentially be linking back to INZ website which is the repository for everything NZ visas.

The other thing I can do is provide a link to Immigration New Zealand's operation manual. It is accessible to everyone. It details the specific requirements of each short term visa. So read and digest it. Turn on notifications so you will know when any updates are made.

https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/#35439.htm

There are students here and I have met a few. So 9ja students in New Zealand, please help out those about to come in.

Work visas - I can give suggestions and pointers on. Student visas - it'll be the blind leading the blind.

Hello everyone.

Now my question is are these two fields of study sellable in New Zealand?
Which one would you advice for me suppose I am your brother?

Master's degree in Restorative Justice since I have job experience in it or a PhD in Disaster Management since I have Master's Degree?

Thanks.
