Greetings house, I was listening to a radio program this afternoon here in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Two ladies anchored the program.


The program was about how some guys abruptly asked them (the presenters) "silly" or unexpected questions simply to get their attention.

Some even paid their their transport fares without them asking. Then a guy called in and said what I find strange: That while he was in the tricycle (keke) on one occasion, a female passenger alighted and paid for him, he didn't know and he was so shocked at it.


So guys have you experienced such before?

It’s happened to me-

First scenario it was a man who paid for me. The reason , he had stolen my wallet. I had dressed up that day for fashion instead of comfort so my wallet was not deep but half deep in my pocket.

Conductors said “ owo da” I was reading a book and was smiling to myself . He paid, I said thanks. It was not until he asked to stop at the next bus stop when a voice said loudly “ CHECK YOU POCKET” , I said why ? It said again “ CHECK YOUR POCKET “ . I said okay . That was when I looked through the back glass of the bus , the thief was laughing already. I shouted stop !!! Wetin oga , the idiot has stolen my wallet.
The conductor said sorry Oga. I chased the idiot , asked for my wallet and gave him a round house kick. This occurred by second gate UNILAG.

The second scenario -
Gorgeous dressed lady in molue. Sat down next to her started chatting . When it was time to pay, she insisted , I obliged. We talked about something on TV back then different takes.

I can relate with that offering part.
One babe invited me to her church for a midweek service, unfortunately I didn't carry cash along. Na so she give me 500# for hand for offering. I shock. Made me remember those days when I was young and I'll go and meet my Mum for offering money.

Countless ladies both know and unknown have paid for my T-fare. Some started a conversation, some did not.
