Do you mean her name is not listed as one of the directors or the company is not in her name?

Whichever is the case, simply ensure the account name is the name of the company. A director in the company can then provide you with the sponsorship letter and other documents.

This my suggestion, you can wait for other insights.

Thanks for your insight. Her business is a school. I have other approval documents in her name from the Ministry of Education. Must it be CAC document that has to be submitted?

CAC document shows the business is registered and recognized by the government so I guess it's important if you're going to use the business account statement to show POF.
Some people even attach tax payment receipts as supporting documents.
When you say in her name it's a bit confusing, the school would obviously not be in her name and the school's business account would not be in her name (correct me if I'm wrong). If you're using her personal account/supporting documents then it's fine if they are in her name.

Your sponsorship letter should be in the company's letter headed paper, she can append her signature if she's a director in the company and has the authority to do that.

Yes with the RC number, they can check to know the director of the business or board of trustees with https://post.cac.gov.ng/search/type/company.

Even among the CAC document, there is also a page showing the names of the director/board of trustees

Thanks.

The business is a school, I have just consulted someone from the ministry of Eduction and I was told what matters is the ministry of education certificate and CAC does not matter for school businesses.

Do you have any idea if I can submit ministry of Education documents in place of CAC certificate?

What I mean in her name is: I am expecting the certificate to state her name as the owner of the said school. However I have now been informed the CAC is not valid. Since Ministry of Education document for accreditation is what matters for Schools and not CAC.

I have all the tax certificates, with her name as payer.

I guess I am just concerned that the business documents have her names and signatures on the papersmiley

I am getting her SOA tomorrow, I will just have her write the sponsorship letter with the business letter head.

Thank you very much. More advises will be appreciated

Good Evening House,
A friend of mine previously studied in Canada before. He didn’t complete his study and left half way. He came back to finish his first degree.
Now, he’s planning to go back for his masters but the issue is that he overstayed his previous study permit. Will it be an issue if he applied for this new study permit?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by hayoBams: 8:39pm On Sep 21, 2022
Good day everyone, I applied for my study permit with an loa of September as the resumption date but because my visa was delayed I decided to defer to January, as it wasn't more than 150 days I didn't send the new one to IRCC.
My question now is, I plan on going by December would this be an issue for me.

Good evening

Pls is there any student here who got addmission into Okanagan college Kelowna?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by aboveHeights: 8:46pm On Sep 21, 2022
There is a higher chance your study permit won't be approved if you apply for a PGD programme in canada
You said you finished with a 2:1, you should put in for a masters programme and not a PGD programme. PGDs are mostly for students who finished with a 2:2 / a third class.

Hi nairalanders, I need some advise on some questions.
I graduated with a 2.1 in business management in UK. I plan to migrate to Canada. I was looking for universities to apply for my masters. Upon checking I notice some universities require some years of work experience, GRE, GMAT. Please are there universities that don’t require this?
I also thought about take a PGD program. But I want to ask does a PGD program (2 semester course work and last semester Co-Op totalling to 1.5 years) equivalent to a 2-3 years PGWP.

Thank you.

Hi, please can you kindly accept my email request, I have a question about the agents fee please. Thanks
RelaxingEnd:

That's correct @ the bolded. I'm going to Fanshawe, too. I mailed them and they replied the next day with list of their education agents in Nigeria. I contacted one of them and got the admission in about 2-3weeks.

In my opinion, no.. Since you do have an updated LOA from the school that should suffice at the POE.

Check other people's comments here A lot of people here give good advices.

Check @Ocool @Charistojames @bepositive11 @houseofrevclaw @predator188 and even those you call newbie give some advice that makano is not capable of giving.

@Makano, @justmellow, @Frankrobbn1 were newbies who got knowledge here and now selling to the same forum that gave them.

I don't have problem with that.

But why are these 3 guys posting fake PPR?

Innocent members are contributing selflessly. Not promoting themselves or trying to make money

Why is @Makano using fake PPR to deceive people here?

Ahh, A guru of my stature. grin

My name should be here o.

It will be a bigger issue if he does not declare himself that he overstayed because IRCC already knows.

If you application has been approved and you are traveling in Dec, i will advise you send the updated admission letter to ircc and also present it at the port of entry.

WHAT!

Please this is incorrect.

Someone i applied for got approved today.
2.1 graduate going for a PGD.

I have also secured a study visa for a 2.1 graduate and a masters holder going for a PGD.

A 2.1 can go for a PGD if he or she can do justice with their SOPs.

I had a similar issue but mine was with the additional letter M. You can go to Waec office oh but friends that went there did end up having to go more than once
So a family friend, one of the officers in charge of passport issue who was the one that discovered this mistake that I have been making advised me to do an affidavit but for date of birth, it is quite serious oh
At least with my affidavit the date of birth was the same thing for all my former documents just the letter M in the name I don't think date of birth can be easily wiped off like that.
No call anybody oh, nobody fit assist you for this situation this is not GCMS matter or application fee person fit help
Abeg either you go and correct it and know you have corrected it or you go swear affidavit hold am FOR NOW, apply first then deal with that after application and send the correct one through webform.
thank you for your prompt response

simple logical reasoning will flag this applicants profile with tons of reasons.

He abadoned his study and had to return back to Nigeria to finish his first degree.... abadoning his study is one thing, having to return back to Nigeria to do and complete another first degree is something else and a huuuuuuuge red flag. Did he transfer his credits from his Canadian school to Nigeria or he came and started from scratch?

He abadoned his study (incomplete) but yet overstayed his study permit in Canada? Bros, this tori get kobo-kay leg!

Lets be frank, if you were the VO, you wont make issues out of it, you will give him a record decision. Unless, i didnt get your story straight.

This is a huge mistake but I don't think it's impossible but this your friend is going to need the blood of Jesus to write his SOP because that is the only saving grace.
