By buffer funds I meant, after demonstrating the accessible funds required to defray the total cost of your study set all, there's need to demonstrate that you're not going to return to the country broke or safety net to cater to any financial emergency during the period. That's what the "buffer fund" is for. Those kinds funds you can use funds which are not necessaries or immediately accessible by the applicant. Abeg441: |

consider as a differentiator, what is the unique outcome of one program over the other? which is more aligned with your prior degree, and career. obviously as you infered, 2 year study seems a more reasonable expense for that amount of money than an 8 months program, mostly when the amount you are spending is not less than 1/3 of your total bank balance. You should also consider, the sunk cost should you apply for 8 months then attempt to change program later on. I don't know what the school's refund policy is like when you voluntarily withdraw from the program at the start of the session. Trust me, you wont be the first to try and pull this, hence the school management must have learned and tweaked their policy to protect their interest. in conclusion, consider the total cost of the strategy (directly applying for the 2 years, or applying for 8 months & withdrawing afterwards) and the weight of the value proposition + career alignment then take a decision. Las las, it is a pill you must swallow. I can only tell you the color whilst looking at what you are showing me, na you go still taste weda e bitter or sweet when you put am for mouth.. lol ciao skentelelady: |

meemeelisco: Have you considered the format may not be convenient to follow through. Remember no one owes you this information, so please let's not make it cumbersome for people to come back to help. I think any format with relevant details like documents submitted, Tuition & amounts paid, POF, timelines, Travel History, no of applicants, number of application and Sponsorship type is okay. 2 Likes |

olokings: skentelelady He actually means that his program is a 2 year program with back to back semesters. 2 4-month semesters per year, adding up to 16 months. 1 Like |

skentelelady: Some schools have programs with 8 months as the official duration. These programs are only eligible for 8 months PGWP. Some schools have programs with 1 year as the official duration but the actual duration is 8 months. These programs are eligible for a 1 year PGWP. I suggest that you apply for a 1 year program then when you go to Canada, apply for another 1 year program and extend your study permit. Don't apply for any program that is officially an 8 month program. It's not worth the risk. 1 Like |

Maybe also include "Document List" and "SOP Structure". This will make PPR announcements more informative. I'm tired of seeing PPR announcements with the main goal being to praise their agents. When you ask questions to learn more from them, they don't even bother replying. It's obvious that their main intent is not to help us or educate us, but to market and sell their agents through testimonials. meemeelisco: 1 Like |

Hi NL peepz … since I got denied in 2014 I haven’t been on this platform not until today ,thank God for password recovery option . I joined this thread I guess at part 3 back then … 8yrs ago I was denied and now I want to reapply , I learnt biometrics valids for 10yrs , that’s cool. Btw dz years I hv had travel history to the uae with 2yrs residence Hopefully I will be submitting my application next week . Can someone tell me the new trend now in packaging a strong and convincing application for Ircc… back then in 2014 nothing like MBS , but now I’m reading diff comments whereby ppl are talking bout MBS, is it really compulsory? Cos i have enuf savings with a microfinance bank that’s not included in the MBS system , can the bank statement along with reference letter from bank suffix ? I also read a part of this thread whereby a lot of 2020/21 applicants were complaining bout BVL message coming up before medical request and some talking about receive NSE request from ircc, is same issue still happening so much now ? Thanks guys while I anticipate your responses |
