You would have been 7 or 8 in 2002 when the Ikeja bomb blast occured. Making your year of birth 1994 or 1995.

So right now you will be 26 or 27.

Just pick one of those dates and choose a day in the year you like. NOthing to be ashamed of.

My father in law died last year. He was a Prof. of Veterinary Medicine. Till this day, no one knows his true age. He would have bee 72 or 73.

It is not where you are coming from that matter but where you are going to.

But you did well connecting your early years to the Ikeja bomb blast.

Just extrapolate the periods.

1) If you have friends in the village who were age mate ask them their age.

2) Ask your grandma she can recall when you where born

3) Ask your class mates their ages
4) Use events to the period and make adjustments.

Once you're done go to general hospital and bribe them to give you date of birth certificate or do court affidavit

from your guess I think you maybe correct at 7 years in primary 2 in 2000,if you plus remaining 4 years in primary + another 6 years in secondary that will be 17 years to finish secondary school which is the average age,that will mean you are born around 1993,you are roughly 30 years old

If you can still remember your primary school, you should visit. They prolly have a record of your age as at the time of enrollment. You can then do the maths. All the best.

For you to be able to remember these things it means that you should be between 5years to 8years.

Mathematically find the mean of 5, 6,7 & 8.
(5+6+7+ cool

÷4 = 26÷4=6½ appropriately 7years.

So I will assume that you are 29years.

He was referring to himself not being able to speak fluent English at that age. Not his uncle. As per diction, I won't be quick to condemn him. This is a non academic environment. You can choose how you intend to pass your message. Some are deliberate errors while others are not.

If you still remember those events then I strongly believe you fall within 1990 - 1993 age bracket.

I was 10yrs old ( born 1992) when that bomb blast happened n I still remember that event so well. I was also in pry 3 then

An average Nigerian child of those good ol days when kg was not yet popular, started primary one at age 5.That was the standard average age. Age 10/11 primary school certificate jss1 things for most. Even thought that primary certificate thing dey carry date of birth that year. Most kids started primary one at age 5 in those days.

Some early kids of those good ol days of school straight without kg entered primary one at age four. The late ones started primary one at 6. But age 5 was the standard. Out of 6kids in my house, four started primary one at age 5. The other two at age 4.
Not be now when most children dey go kg first and age 5 & 6 some still dey still dey kg 2 & 3 not yet in primary one.

Being your uncle took you in primary two of those ol' days without kg, you were approximately of age range 6 or 7 the year he took you. Comeon l still remember wella how l ran & furiously escaped outside the classroom on the first day of school cos l didn't want to be there. And l was just 5 then.l!.

thanks but I was born in lag, my grandma came to take back to village after my mum gave up, my dad died on the spot. It was an accident and I am the only survivor.

You must have been born between 1995 and 1997 according to the hint you gave. However I will suggest that:
1. Ask for the hospital you were born and use your mum's name to search for the antenatal record/card
2. Ask your uncles, older cousin, aunts and so on for basic information about the year u were born
3. You may go to the neighborhood where u grew up and try to know those who were born around the time you were born especially, the house your parents lived in before they died.
If you are unable to get it...just accept things you can not change
