Pls I want to schedule an appointment for my upfront medicals nd d next appointment date is 22 nov...op it's not too late or can I get a nearer date.

Should I schedule online or call them

Which is best...qlife hospital or iom

Did my biometrics last week

For me, I personally prefer IOM.

You can call them to schedule an appointment with them or even go there, beg them to allow you do your medicals that you live far away. And if you want to go with the next available date, Nov, 22, that’s also fine.

Depends on your location. IOM( Abuja and Lagos), Qlife(Lagos)

Good luck

It will end in praise

Trust me, I am not sleeping truly. I haven’t slept up to 20hrs since I received this letter on Saturday.

Now this is the issue here: I already have UK ban due to an agent’s stupidity. I applied for a visit visa in 2019 and submitted my original bank statement but guess what? The bastard went to fudge a statement which I didn’t know about, it resulted to UK giving me 10 years ban and this year’s December would make it 3 years. And due to my own stupidity, I trusted another agent with the visit visa to Canada in 2020 and the application fee was reversed back to him and I didn’t know about it until now. Now that this my current study application that I did by myself is about to work out, but that silly error on the 2020 application is about to ruin my chance and a possible ban too. My wife would be relocating to the UK next week Thursday (exactly a week today) as a registered nurse, we haven’t been able to have a good time together since I received this procedural fairness letter.

I look at my wife that we just got married last month and I want to express my feelings on how much I would miss her but damn!!! Something inside of me is killing me so badly that I can’t even express my feelings and our excitement for her new job in the UK and her departure is affected as a family, obviously my laughter and smiles are forced and unreal because I’m hurting inside and she knows. We now have to start looking at UK for me again.

God please, I come before you with Matthew 7:7-8 that says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

Please, wipe our tears and answer all our prayers, open the doors of Canada to us all on this platform through Jesus Christ your only son. AMEN

I pray God brings calmness to you and takes control of everything. Just as you have left it to God, believe He will show you mercy and shine His light upon your application.

It will end in praise.

The sponsor in d case u arent declaring yourself as d sponsor …but if u declare urself as sole sponsor or co sponsor den u hv to submit ur bank statement too and oda proof that shows how d money is being made.
The account can be any type …personal acct better tho . For biz acct den u hv to show proof that d money in the acct will be available to u
Atleast a ref letter from d bank showing d signatory to d acct . If it’s more dan one signatory other dan ur sponsor den a consent letter shd come from oda signatories.

Dollar card …. Naira card has been limited to only $20 txn daily

Djdimeji:
Thanks to everyone that responded.

Some other enquiries,

1. Who should carry the funds, the applicant or the sponsor?
2. Whose bank statement would be submitted, the applicant, sponsor or both?
3. The account should be savings or current? (or business account, I'm not so sure but aren't business and current account the same?)
4. How do you guys pay for the application fees, naira or dollar card?

Thank you!

Curious. Did your wife gain her visa with or without full declaration as your spouse? (If she didnt declare you, asuming that she acquired the visa after the ban was in force [unless she got the visa before the ban or before she met / entered into legal partnership with you])

With your UK 10 year ban still in play, you still went ahead and used a wishy-washee visa agent (representative) again?

Now that you are seeing that Canada channel is fasting closing up and becoming most difficult, how do you want to approach the UK delima with the 10 year ban still fresh? I (and others i think) will really like to learn what your solution idea is.

Just google IOM, browse through their website, check the available medical day/time, book an appointment , then you make a payment of 46,500 immediately or whenever you feel comfortable to do so, even a day before the appointment day is allowed.

1. You will show previous balance of 4-6 months till the day you printed your statement of account.

2. Nope. Your POF is one of the essential documents.

3. It is best advisable that it stays there pending when you get a response from the embassy because sometimes they can ask for a recent SOA later.

4. You can go for your biometrics done after you have submitted your application and PCC is not a compulsory document.

5. Just the normal passport photograph that is clear enough.

It seem you don't have the POF in place. I would advise you to keep nurturing it till it matures enough to cover your entire living expenses and school fees, then you submit your application. And be prepared to leave it there till when you get a final decision.

profeddor15:
Good morning my seniors in the house, please i seriously need your assistance on the issue of proof of funds and i will be glad for your kind encouragement.
1. How do i present 6months bank statement for my application, is it that i will leave the money in my account for six months before i start my application or the bank account details will show six months upfront?.
2. Can i start my application without the inclusion of POF till it mature for six months?.
3. Since the processing time is 13weeks, is there any effect on the six months bank statement or should be there till I'm cleared from embassy?.
4. Do i need to do my biometrics and police character certificate before i start my application or is upon their request?.
5. What's the best place to get the passport photograph requested for the application by Visa application center?.
I will be glad for your enlightenment especially on the issue of proof of funds and application proper in order to be on a save side.
Thanks and God bless you all.

Damn, this is already taking a toll on you. I had my fair share of this canada japa wahala when my third application got refused last year. Just relax yourself, reply the procedural letter with enough sincerity/explanation, take your mind off this for some time and hope for a positive response from them.

All the best.

Hi guys . Does anyone here knows any Canadian Immigration lawyer that is good in handling visa overstay application.
I’m actually about to submit a study permit but I overstayed my visa in Japan some time ago I also wish to declare it to avoid them finding out by themselves.

Something in me is telling me to submit my application using a lawyer.

Thanks guys.
