I gave a phone engineer a TCL Phone with upfront payment to help crack/format the phone so that it can be used with Nigerian sim cards but for over 4 months now it has been one excuse or another as he is always claiming to be requesting one code or the other with no progress whatsoever. He's always avoiding me and seeing him is always a challenge which if its successful, he will claim a small progress.

Should the process take so long? Hope he hasn't damaged the phone because the phone was less than 2 weeks old before being given to him.

I'm getting confused..... experts in the house, kindly advise me.

Omo I plugged my Samsung overnight
When I woke up the phone was really hot and I disconnected it immediately
When I tried charging it this morning it's not working
I tested the cord and charger with another phone and it worked perfectly
