Before traveling abroad, get a skill. You must be ready to work your ass off for your money. There is no free money on the street or on the tree. Forget about what people tell you. When you finally leave, you will have cause to have a rethink. Don't fall from frying pan into fire. Never you go to any country with visiting visa with the hope of hustling or staying back. If you are selling your property to come abroad as a student and think of making it, that is the joke of the year. Your 20 hours a week job, the salary will only be enough to pay house rent, tax, bus and train ticket and feed. If is work visa, I will tell you to travel but be rest assured that you must work for your money. A bird at hand worth more than 9 in the Bush. Many people abroad are waiting for Peter Obi to win election next year to start relocating back to Nigeria. Use your tongue and count your teeth.

So it is Nigeria here people are not working their ass hahahaha
I really pity you people comparing abroad to your shit hole make una Dey console us selves as una no see money travel

I was only telling you that no where is safe in the world. Despite our challenges, we are safer than some western nation. Do you know how parents are scared when their kids go to school in the states.

It is not right to rubbish your nation at every opportunity when every country has its challenge.

It depends on where you live in nigeria; students gets kidnapped rapped, sold as slave and killed in Nigeria (too many to count).

Reach out to me. We can partner and do something big.

This is a serious offer to any Nigerian outside who wishes to start something here in Nigeria.
Why can’t you partner with your fellow billionaires in Nigeria? Please leave those in diaspora alone, they have moved on .

If you apply a little common sense, you will see that most of the commentators in support of staying in Nigeria and making here have all traveled outside Nigeria at one time or another. Most are actually returnees.

This has nothing to do with jealousy. Some of us cannot stand the daily life in the West. Coupled with the total lack of respect for black Africans.

I hope you have secured a burial ground in the Cemetery of the local council you live in.

I responded to the guy who genuinely wants to start something in Nigeria while still hustling in the West. I know how he feels because I have been there. That's why I volunteer to help anyone who truly has plans to return home.
FYI, I don't need your money.
Re: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by saggis: 5:58pm On Nov 06, 2022
$1000 is close to #850,000 now. And moving towards #950k.

This is the best time for anyone in the diaspora to start something in Nigeria.
This opportunity might not come again.

Thanks to dumb CBN.

In your opinion and with your experience sir, should he make the move?

Securing a cemetery should be the least of worries. Why not worry about those Nigerians whose corpse are left to rot on street. Haven’t you seen one of those?

There are a lot of people in Nigeria needing investment help, start with them first.
It’s either you intend to live forever on earth, right or you are investing to have enough for your your burial. These are some of the backward mentality that is driving desperation in Nigeria.
As odd as it might sound to you, people pay for their burial expenses in advance in the West. Some give advanced directive on how their remains should be used to advance science.
So, it’s not something to be shamed of or an oddity.
Goodluck with your fishing!

Fishing for what?!. Some of you are just too darn pessimistic. A lot worse than White people when it comes to doing business in Nigeria with Nigerians. If you have chosen to be buried in the West, good for you. It's your right. But do not discourage those who are looking for ways to invest in Nigeria, but need assistance.

From your comments, I can see that you are totally crippled with fear of losing your money. Please KEEP IT.

God forbid .she lonely and self fish . A nurse will flourish more in the UK while a Lawyer wouldn't In 10 year time . He better off growing his law firm in Nigeria . She must either choose husband or money .the client based he is building would need him in future when the grow to become governor senator big business men etc .

How do you guys come up with all these nonsense. Please, not everyone living abroad, lives on credit. I don't even own a credit card anymore. Only loan i have is my student loan and i have only $5850 left. And i have a good job. I am coming back to Naija to bury my father in law, and i am spending almost 8k on flights and much more on the burial. I didn't take a single loan, or use credit or borrow from anyone. And i still have almost 4 times that in savings.
I lived in Europe and have been to US so I know what I'm talking about.

The vast majority of Black people in those countries live on credit and are 10th class citizens. Even dogs are treated better than blacks.

I've stated it here on numerous occasions that by the second year of the next administration, a Dollar will exchange for close to #2,000. Maybe by then, you'd understand what's fuelling the japa syndrome.

The country had been murdered from the inception, the funeral arrangements is what's currently ongoing.

This really cracked me up.

This washing of dead body is an old wives tale.

I have lived in more than 3 western countries. Even when I was at my lowest, working as a laborer I was more fulfilled than when I worked in oil and gas in Nigeria.

These I work in top companies and make a lot of money. The most important aspect of living overseas is that I can go to the gym at 3am and not worry about my safety.

1. Not everyone lives in America
2. As dangerous as you think America is it is safer than Nigeria

3. The homicide rate in Nigeria is 34 compared to 4 in USA
https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/violent-crime-rates-by-country

Please educate yourself on crime statistics in America
you worked as a labourer in the west and u r more fulfilled as a labourer in d west than when u worked in oil and gas in nigeria, just to ask you worked as wat in the oil and gas in Nigeria
