which Kasala? Canada is not south Africa or some Arab country. Majority of Nigerians are here as PR. When you come in as PR, you get citizenship in 3 years. Even as PR, you have as many benefits as a citizens except the right to vote and join military. All that will change once you get citizenship.

And Canadians are generally very polite, kind and nice.

dude pharmacuetical is a big business.... You will make it and the market is huge in Nigeria....but establish it here and be here to manage it.... It is important!

You can avoid Lagos and look for tax free zones like Ogun, Anambra, Ekiti, Enugu etc.. These areas are good and they have the manpower

How did you survive that rat race in UK came to London was surprised at how Nigerians juggle jobs and manage life

You will live like king here with your investments in safe hands

You don’t invest in retail business and leave it for a second in Nigeria. It will fail woefully. Retail pharmacy is not a business you can easily take stock periodically.
Take this advice and know peace

You don't have electricity or portable water and basic amenities in your country and you are worried about someone on dreads. Below is a celebrity in your country, I suppose he is also poor and can't afford a haircut.

many just want to feel they have suppased their country men by moving to white man Land and be sending pictures of snow up and down after coming home from a warehouse shift at Amazon .
Sorry to burst your bubble but there are many Nigerians working in high tech firms, medicine and finance abroad, you can only use the warehouse work analogy to console yourself and your failure in your attempts to relocate to the UK

I didn't insult you and I dolt see 11 people living in a flat as decent it is like face me I face you

Honestly, it's 100pct worth it if you are going with Permanent Residency. You get to settle on time economically in your destination.

If you are relocating through student route, it's largely going to worth it if you do your research very well and understand how to plan your way to permanent residency at your destination in the shortest possible time

If you are going on a visit visa, to become illegal afterwards, it's not worth it at all except your life is not meaningful in Nigeria.

Whatever you decide, let me end it with my usual assertion. "A Cat in Nigeria cannot become a Lion overseas, and a Lion in Nigeria will not become a Cat either overseas.

You know yourself, capabilities etc. Research your destination and set your expectations accordingly.

Good luck !

.a lion here can become a cat abroad,I know a bank branch manager here in Nigeria who is
now salesman in america in a departmentmental store

Don't mind these depressed people, the same ones that don't get adequate sleep and wake up by 3:00am in Lagos just to beat traffic to get to their depressing work and spend a large amount of productive hours in traffic are here preaching about rat race.

News made round recently of a first class Mathematics graduate and MSc graduate in Nigeria that his country failed him as he was doing farming that was snapped up by an Ivy league school in the USA for his PhD. Your talent and skills as a professional in corporate world will always win regardless of how your feelings are as an individual.

You dey mind them? The next thing you would hear them talk about is washing dead bodies abroad, as if there are no mortuaries in Nigeria. Are people not working in those in Nigeria?

I've stated it here on numerous occasions that by the second year of the next administration, a Dollar will exchange for close to #2,000. Maybe by then, you'd understand what's fuelling the japa syndrome.

The country had been murdered from the inception, the funeral arrangements is what's currently ongoing.

No way a dollar will go for 2000. You can quote this after two years

Ask them the number of Nigerians washing dead bodies abroad? They are ignorant that even abroad take care of their dead very well compared to Nigeria and you have to show some qualifications before applying for those jobs, similar to blue collar jobs like plumbing and fork-lifting unlike Nigeria with several Oluwole "professionals".
The ones that claim to drive SUV still prefer foreign made ones and not Innoson yet they preach to you about patriotism.

This is a very wrong statement. My dad has never been able to buy a new car all his life. I can buy one now if i want, i don't leave above my means, also i have no credit card bills. Only loan i am paying off is my student loans and i have $5850 left, which i can pay off now if i want. Its not any fault of his, its just the hand he was dealt in Nigeria.
gassbee:
This is d difference, with your dad's 500k he can conveniently take care of more bills than you can with ur 15k in the US or Canada

That means he was not really a Lion in Nigeria. He was just a cat helped by nepotism and corrupt system in Nigeria to look like a Lion.

Find out how he landed his bank manager job in Nigeria. Maybe he got there by cheating in schools, by nepotism and "man know man" which is prevalent in Nigeria.

On getting to abroad where he cannot cheat, no man-know-man to help him, his real trait is then exposed.

How do you guys come up with all these nonsense. Please, not everyone living abroad, lives on credit. I don't even own a credit card anymore. Only loan i have is my student loan and i have only $5850 left. And i have a good job. I am coming back to Naija to bury my father in law, and i am spending almost 8k on flights and much more on the burial. I didn't take a single loan, or use credit or borrow from anyone. And i still have almost 4 times that in savings.
hodari:

You won't admit it, but I'm sure you went on that cruise using credit (debt). Nobody can afford anything in these developed countries without debt.

You went on a cruise but nobody wants to interact with you on the cruise because they think you're servants / waiters. Imagine living life at the bottom of society, despised, scorned and treated like trash, no matter how much money you have.

Your kids are grown up but probably act like Akatas and have no African culture again. They're probably into homosexuality, pornography (onlyfans), drugs and other degenerate behaviour accepted as normal in the West.
