Good evening house. my application status shows in progress in all categories except for biometrics which was completed in August. What does this mean? should I be concerned? My medical was upfront and completed on 16th September and application had been submitted since August.
Thanks in advance.

I think u should go for pgc or pgd on adult education

Compliments family, I'm happy to join this group. May God richly bless all the hard-working brains that have been working tirelessly in this group. Amen
Please I'm a civil servant and I plan to apply for fall 2023 specifically to Memorial university.(my friend and roomie from school lives at Newfoundland and asked me to apply there)

I read Bsc Business Management 2007 and a PGD in Education from NTI 2009( I doubt if I go fit get the transcript of the PGDE). Thereafter I taught in few schools before I got a government job in 2013. I plan to go for Msc Curriculum Learning and Teaching.

My job description is related to education as I handle voter education and training.I think u should go for pgd or pgc in adult education

I intend getting a sponsor (my maternal uncle) as govt won't sponsor me and I won't save enough before then to meet the required POF even though I can pay my tuition.
Note: I'm married and my husband will later join me after my Visa approval as I've read here.

I would not mind if any guru here can guide me through the process as application is on-going now at MUN and also our successful applicants over there, come guide your sister as I have some questions to ask since you already enjoying the reality of our own dreams .
Once again may your labor in this platform not go unrewarded in Jesus name amen.

It's on the passport request letter.

"Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada."

"Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport."

Okay about the renewal of passport..I made enquiry today about it and was told it had to be 6months before expiration for me to be able to apply for renewal cause I still have more than 9months to expiry date....except I pay extra money for marginalization like they say then I can renew now . Which means i can travel with it and then go renewal when I travel ..please I need someone to throw more light on this issue for me please. Thank you.

I submitted on Oct 21st too and passports yet to be returned. I tried to track online but says it has been submitted to Canada Visa office. So i chatted VFS agents and they said they are yet to receive passports that were submitted Oct 21st back from the Embassy. Same thing when i sent a mail to enquire, the response was "your parcel is not ready for pickup"

I guess its a general challenge, could be the delay came from issues around the security alerts the US embassy put up sometimes ago. Maybe their embassy staff had to also leave or go into hiding temporarily during the security threats.

We can only wait on them, meanwhile flight tickets are rising. I am beginning to consider going ahead to purchase tickets as price has increased by over 800k for us since receiving PP request.

Any update? Have you heard from them? I think this issue is being experienced by those who submitted in Lagos VFS.

Good evening everyone.

I really want to appreciate everyone, both the person's asking questions and those selflessly providing answers.

I studied Agric. Engineering in the University and graduated in 2014 with a high 2.1. I finished my Youth Service in 2015 and joined the work force as a sales Executive.

I've been in sales till date.

I'm considering moving over to Canada.

I'm single and will be 33yrs by January.

Please, my good people, I'm here as a novice seeking for your advice on which route I should follow in pursuing my ambition.

Between Study and PR option which one should I follow and the how-to go about each of those options.

Thank you so much, everyone in advance.

Good evening people.. I greet ooh.

Please if you received PPR using new portal, kindly indicate or mention it, please. This will encourage some of us to keep the hope alive. Though people keep saying whether you applied through new portal or GCKey, it doesn’t matter, I agree. However, Looking at the recent PPRs we’ve received here, especially for August applicants, everything seems to be from GCKey.

Indicating new portal or old portal (GCkey) would help us count down too or atleast to relate to the flow of approval from both portals. Although I can’t tell you what to do. I am only making an humbly plea. Thanks.

It's mostly colleges that respond quickly. Not sure of any Uni that responds fast - especially not University of Saskatchewan.
Most faculties usually like to close applications before responding - either in bulk or on a rolling basis.

No portal is faster than the other..we have seen how IRCC changes pattern..pretty sure if new portal starts getting approval..you most definitely will write same thing..just use any portal you want..PPR go land
