It is either you are blind, not exposed, not informed or you are in juvenile stage between 1997 to 2007. Most of the things you wrote here are junks and falsehood. Junks and falsehood for uninformed and social media youths.

I will be wasting my time if I should tell you that Lagos was abandoned by Abacha and as at 1998 Lagos was already becoming a slum. Abdulkareem Adisa the Minister of Works said he is not Minister of Lagos Affairs when people begged him on behalf of Lagos. He reminded them Abuja is both a political and economic capital of Nigeria. Embassies were forced to relocate to Abuja on deadline. Banks were forced to move their headquarters out of Lagos. Lagos was becoming a glorified village.

Tinubu started the reurbanization projects. He awarded the reconstruction of Lagos Central Business District, Awolowo Road Ikoyi, Kudirat Abiola road Ojota to Julius Berger and brought Enron Power as IPP to Lagos. FG moved against Tinubu's IPP because power is in the exclusive list. It was Nasir El Rufai that moved against Tinubu's IPP with quality Intelligent argument. That was the beginning of Tinubu's problem with FG.

Tinubu started the redesign of the Lagos masterplan. Dualization of Iyanaoba to Iyanapaja, Lekki road, the Atlantic City Project were started by Tinubu. Lekki Free Trade zone , the Badagry port and the Fourth mainland bridge were first conceptualized under Tinubu. Tinubu started civil service reforms.

Obasanjo said Lagos is jungle but after Tinubu's masterplan outflow, he changed statement. Obanikoro and Ogunlewe are now in APC. They have all appreciated Tinubu's ingenuity.

You cannot compare Tinubu with Dukes, Ibori or Makarfi during Obj. Tinubu was in the opposition always fighting Obasanjo. Tinubu established Southern Governors Forum and led the battle for payment of 13% derivation. He led the battle supported by Chief Osoba for the abolition of Onshore / Offshore dichotomy which made AkwaIbom a very rich state in Nigeria today. Obong Victor Attach as AkwaIbom State governor was helpless as vast majority of AkwaIbom oil wells are offshore and nothing was paid on them.

You said IBOs voted for Tinubu to have second tenure. You are very funny and uninformed.

For man that claimed he lost everything during the MKO election unrest. When and how did he now inherit the wealth he's referring to.

Deloitte has already disowned him, remember.

Britishpea:
So many things contribute to give a man Wealth. At each occasion you won’t be mentioning all of them. You can only mention the ones you could remember at a given time.

We are not going to say that he inherited estates from his mother Habibat is a lie! And we are not going to say he didn’t make money while he was working at Deloitte and Mobil oil.

We will also not say he didn’t invest. It is evident in his way of turning Lagos fortune around within 8 years of his rule. All all things being equal

Propagating falsehood. To what extent.

Tinubu Administration was so popular immediately after the exit of the military government in 1999 to the extent that he and his tenure became the bench mark for every state in Nigeria. He created solid institutions that makes every other governors and their commissioners to come and do copycat and mentoring in Lagos. If I lied go through the archive. Case in points is
LASTMA, and not limited to LAWMA. Albeit, they appear to us as a mediocre institution at the start, after which successive administration that come after have polished it to what it is today. These and many more institutions are replicated across states and Fct in Nigeria.
Let us put our facts right. U can hate the man but don't hate his work.

You are correct.
He inherited these 2 pieces of real estate from Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji:

1. Former Laspotech Ikosi Campus that now houses TVC. Staff and students were evicted 2005 by truck loads of armed mobile policemen on the orders of BAT.
2. The former premises of Eti-Osa Local Government headquarters on Glover Road Ikoyi which now has a magnificent block of office apartments while the LG was banished to the middle of nowhere on Victoria Island.

I still don’t understand why Chinedu and Okafor living in the deep forest of Ebonyi and Abia are so fixated and pained over Tinubu’s stealing of Lagos funds (if true) when the Yorubas aren’t complaining.
Some of these kids with faulty parental upbringing even believe that the Otedola dynasty started with Mr Femi and they would have been everywhere saying Femi Otedola stole their money if he was an active politician. grin

Urchins will forever be urchins even after reading the unstable oliver twist narative Tinubu gave about how he acquired his wealth as written by the OP, you are so brainwashed that if Tinubu comes tomorrow and says he makes his money from baba-ijebu you will gladly believe the lie because you don't use your brain.

Everything about him is a lie, from his background to his name and his wealth.

Have you asked yourself how come he doesn't have a childhood photo that he had to steal Donald Dukes own. A man that claim to come from a weathy family doesn't have a single childhood family photograph? Even if he doesn't have a copy, you mean no one in his entire rich family doesn't have one? Is it that they have not invented cameras during his childhood or what? You urchins don't use your brains so it will be very difficult to even think about it.

You supporting Tinubu, I am very sure you can dig out you grandpa's childhood photos if mandated to do so for proof but here you are blindly supporting someone that can't provide his childhood photo but had to steal someone's else...Tinubu is a fraud and anyone supporting him is fraudulent.

Also the 57 local government that he fought obasanjo for has become a reality in the regime in which he is the national leader of the ruling party with him having both the leadership of the national assembly in his pocket, so the man did a lot for Nigerians and Lagosians he should be rewarded with the presidency
