LastProphet:don't mind those fools. In this country that herdmen will kill a whole village and the army with the president cannot even lift a finger against them. If not anything lack a Justice in this country is enough reason for any reasonable Nigerian to Leave. Imagine a whole presidential media aid tagged Nigerians wailing wailers simply because they spoke against bad government. |

I get what you're saying. This is another way to look at it. The biggest enabler of the problems that exist in the nation today is the government. Nigerians uphold the law when they are not in Nigeria, which should serve as a warning that our system is weak. Let me return to the statement you made earlier about people moving away in search of better opportunities. Everything in Nigeria is so terrible; the country is not rational, and next year, the fuel subsidy will be removed. Nothing is working in this country. I formerly had a lot of faith in Nigeria, but now I have no reason to do so. |

Samunique:See this one talking what you don't know. Have you ever been to developed countries and stay like 6 months then you will know that naija is a lawless cesspit of hunger, greed, corruption and suffering. |

the op is dredging because he doesn't have enough money to live his dreams. like the popular saying "traveling is part of education", if you had enough money you would be living your dream life not hinging your hopes on politicians with no visions and directions. it's the same choice like going to the best school: better class, better education, better evaluation and better use of your time compared to the asanganahama public schools. |

People who waste their time to write things like this do it as a result of 1. They lack the financial abilities to move 2. They lack the educational competence to survive Let me help you young man of all the mighty companies in Lagos 89% of the owners are people who returned to Nigeria to make investment All your politicians kids are here All the business leaders kids are here Anyone who is able to do and steal in Nigeria their kids are here The fact is go and check the solutions to Nigeria development lies in the hands of those who have gone to other developed nations to see and know how real development works An intellectually driven development ooo Guy forget it when you go to other nations you will believe that Nigeria Is not a country Forget about all those your lengthy write ups as a result of the motivation you receive from your pastor who after telling you those things still collected your tithe and offering making him rich and you mentally poor Now this is the thing In the abroad if you do not have skills you will be stranded Theirs is give me the service take the money Not like ours that companies employ 100 persons and is only 5 that does the work the rest has zero skills The society is built in such a way that you can get your skills and make your life No stealing no 419 no scamming no yahoyaho Just be hard working and prosper Life in your country is different from other developed nations So before you write travel first stop writing nonsense because you guys have the space |

Samunique:We are talking about better economy, security and basic amenities 24/7. All you have in mind is obeying traffic light. That's the least of the worries of an average Nigerian. Dollar is N800+, a bag of rice is N50k. Public schools are no go area. Vehicle papers renewer is now X3 yet the roads are terrible. |

Samunique:Your statement in bold fonts refers. No need to educate them on that, let them continue to do that. When the consequences come, they will realize their folly. By the Grace of God, some of us have traveled and are still traveling without throwing mud at our home country. People can travel without mudslinging their country of birth. Nigerian leaders haven't particularly done well but have the citizens been better behaved? If you have any relative schooling in the UK now ask them how Nigerians are misbehaving right now. My young cousin was telling me how some Nigerians who just got to the UK made a care agency to lose its clients because some Nigerians would go to care homes with Alcohol for the night. No sense of professionalism. |

Samunique:You still don't get it, The reasons why people are leaving are much more and the bulk lies at the feet of the govt These politicians children schooled abroad or in private uni. They travel abroad for medicals yet you want to blame the masses. The change begins with them |

Desusi:Let’s play with maths from the figures you presented. Just asking, you did a day job and was paid 4500 Belgium’s money. You then went to a tokumbo car stand and the price of a decent car was 90000. What can be deduced from this story is that if you worked for only 20 days and saved the money, you could buy a decent car. Therefore, realistically if you saved half of your income for 40 days, you could afford a car. My question now, which job would you have done back home to be able to afford a car after 40 days of work? Let me even hype it a little. In a year, if sending cars home is what you were interested in, you could have sent 10 cars home every year! |

Angelfrost:Oh i get your point sire. but I said it takes more than the government to advance a nation, I didn't say the government ain't as important as the people on that quest. And besides, It's still the 'people' that eventually win elections and become the 'government' right? |

The grass is always looking greener on the other side. Many will end up disappointed when they get to the other side and find out it is not as rosy as they thought. |
