Everybody can't remain in Nigeria. Let he that choose to stay, stay, and let he that choose to leave, leave. I believe people can't be coerced into leaving against their wish and vice versa - individuals know what's best for them [ We will not gree make biafrans leave nigeria. They're dots in a circle. And they must fulfill their promises. TO DEFEND HER UNITY. i rest my case. Court! ] |

I think the govt is our problem, not the people, which is our constitution,if Nigeria will work let the govt create a rule and enforce it apply it to anybody poor and the elite, remove immunity, this is how the country will work |

ahiboilandgas:I have done more business than you and Nigeria is a hopeless country because one idiotic police can blow that your matured mouth away just by mistake and he will still dodge justice if he's connected, I repeat "that you don't know anything". Even those your trucks give it 1 year on Nigerian roads. I know you think you know your way round by dropping money for police , this that, all that is bullshit but you will never know until you come and do business elsewhere |

Nonsense post . See how you foolishly blamed it all on the youths. How many children of our politicians schooled/is schooling in Nigeria? How many times in 7 years has Buhari gone on medical trips abroad? This post is just off |

One of nigerians in diaspora .Adebayo ogunlesi acquired Gatwick Airport in the UK. His father was a professor in Nigeria but now retired. Mr adebayo is now 70 and his father is still alive and nearly 100. Go to goggle and all type adebayo ogunlesi. The is what japarism is all about. Mr adebayo was part of president trump's cabinet. In the UK too there are nigerians in government too. I know a man here that produces 10 thousand loaves a day. Their are silent millionaire in diaspora but, you don't see such people coming to Nigeria spraying money on juju and fuji musicians or marring 4 wives like your millionaires in Nigeria |

Samunique:Boss just one small argument to throw all your points into the latrine. Diaspora Remittance to Nigeria for 2021 was over $22 billion. As long as what you wrote does not translate to money in the pockets and families of Nigerians, it's of no use. |

Angelfrost:Good thing you mention Akwa Ibom. That means other state government can copy what works in Akwa Ibom. But will they? Many things are driven at the local level, state and federal, but is it happening? Using this same logic as you, if you replace US citizens with Nigerians and retain their Presidents and State governors as it is (Americans), can you imagine what will become of that country in 8 years? Food for thoughts. |

The travel cost humble me I swear, is not an understatement if i say those of you who made it out of this country were rich. |

Samunique:So Yahoo yahoo was just invented right? You must be kidding. The yahoo yahoo of old inspired the present age yahoo yahoo. The greatest form of yahoo yahoo is when the spirit of an unborn child is manipulated from conception and that's what those of old practiced. Information age only amplified the trend and made it more trendier for greedy folks around. I am sure all the politicians positioning their seeds abroad are not the indomie generation. It has been happening for long. |

Samunique: point of correction This generation is not worse than past generations as a result of Yahoo Yahoo etc Older generation messed up the country for this younger generation The older generation had a very good country bequeathed to them by the founding fathers But they totally messed up everything That the youths of today ended up in vices is because of the country they got. It will not be well with the older generation |

Politicians no do anything their only fu<k up nah compromise. The problem with Nigeria is that 80% of the people are divided with religious, tribalist and nepotic sentiments and foolishness and that same 80% are evil and wicked motherfuckers who engage in fraud, ritual, kidnapping, stealing, greed, selfishness and lack of education and exposure |

ahiboilandgas:99.9% of the professionals fall in to the former situation in your example while less than 0.01% falls in to the latter situation, it begins to make me wonder why you will criticise what applies to 99.9% . The fallacy is shocking and makes me think there is more to it. The bulk of Nigerian graduates are underemployed, underpaid. At least 200,000 graduates pass through NYSC yearly. Nigeria do not have a short supply of graduates, let some leave if they want to leave. Not everyone will leave , some unemployed graduates will get jobs by virtue of those leaving creating vacancy. I think many Nigerians criticising those leaving are doing that because of their " i better pass my neighbour" mentality. They keep wondering if those leaving will be "better" than them in the years down the line. " i better pass my neighbor" syndrome affects a lot of Nigerians, it is a syndrome noticeable in home based Nigerians and Nigerians in diaspora. Nigerians that have relocated in the last 10 years is less than a million. At least 200,000 graduates produced yearly is a joke to you? Much ado about nothing. I left the country and i am glad for the choice, i do not disparage my country and hope things get better. If you get a chance to leave legally , leave please if you are underemployed, unemployed or frustrated with the security and safety of yourself and family. Weigh your options sensibly. If 10% of those that leave relocate back to Nogeria, they will bring a fresh perspective hopefully although that is also not guaranteed. Many Nigerians in Nigeria are not productive and don't pay tax, they are redundant in the system, they will be more useful to Nigeria when they leave and send foreign remittance. For those quick to criticise politicians, they are a reflection of followers. That is the reason why Nigerians should select their poison carefully from the politicians in 2023. |
