The Blood of Jesus Christ takes you to heaven, Your righteousness is like a filthy rag, good works is for reward and not for salvation
The statement in bold is a lie! All the blood will do for you is help you become born-again but know that all those who will end up in Hell are all also born-again. What will instead get you into Heaven is doing the work that God has commanded that all those who belong to.Him do and that work involves living your life in continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, the only way there is for anyone to become righteous undecided

Good work must be associated with faith.
You can't do works of righteousness without first living your life in continuous submission and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, a life of faith. undecided

10q so much for this apt and concise response. I was wondering how people did not realize that Christ died for the whole world. And it’s whoever and not just the Jews.
The whole world refers to the lost sheep of israel, who are scattered to every tribe, every language and every nation of the world, as Jesus Christ Himself also informed you that God only sent Him to. So do you only trust some of what Jesus Christ says or all of what Jesus Christ said. undecided

God words cannot take you to even but it's a prerequisite for christian growth and development. Some of you don't really understand scriptures so you give interpretation that are not exact.
Eph 2;8-9. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
The judgement of God is for all men For the righteous and the unrighteous and it's for either reward or condemnation. However been saved is of grace.
Grace refers to eternal life which all those who are born-again receive the moment they are saved from the condemnation of sin as Jesus Christ explained in John 3 vs 16. However, also note that all those who will end up in Hell have the same grace of God, so while grace can save you from the condemnation of Sin aka Death, grace does not guarantee you Heaven. Instead as Jesus Christ made clear in His teachings, only those who meet up with God's standard of righteousness will enter into Heaven, and the only way to that is to live one's life in continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. undecided

Where was it written in the bible that those who go to hell are born again?

Jesus said anyone who believed the Gospel will be saved.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus said those who has everlasting life will not come into condemnation.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

To enter into life is to be saved from hell fire.

I write this for the sake of anyone who would want to gobble down her gibberish.

How about doing some good works , but you chose to become an atheist. I don't know if God will pardon you .
It is impossible to attain God's righteousness only to then turn back. That is akin to saying God's Holy Spirit aka the Spirit of Truth who lived inside of Jesus Christ failed.. undecided

You must come to Christ and be washed away from you sins. Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Our righteousness is like a filthy rag before God. We cannot go to God of our own volition. We can only Go to him through Christ who was a propitiation for our sins. Read you bible and be not deceived by vain philosophies.

1. Washing aways of sins to the side, the same Jesus Christ also informed you that you can enter into the Kingdom of God through either of the Broad gate which leads to destruction (Hell) or the Narrow gate which leads to True life(Heaven) - John 3 vs 1 - 8 & Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14 & Luke 13 vs 22 - 30. What that means is that even all those who will end up in eternal damnation after Jesus Christ returns and judges all those in the Kingdom of God are also born-again aka they all have eternal life(grace) as well. undecided

2. What Isaiah said in Isaiah 64 vs 6 is that so long as you are riddled with sin, it taints all of your works rendering it filthy and unacceptable to God. Jesus Christ taught His followers that only those who live their lives in continuous submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments --- the only way to know the Truth and be set free by the Truth from slavery to sin accorrding to John 8 vs 31 - 36 --- will go on to do good works that He did , and more. So, in Jesus Christ, only those who trust and obey Him every moment of their days will become righteous. All others who reject His teachings will be judged unrighteous by Him.. undecided

Fallacy, the same reason Jesus Christ scolded the Pharisees and Saducees is what you are saying here. Those that will end up in hell are those that trust in their works for salvation instead whole heartedly accepting the finished work of Christ for them by faith. If it's by works, the coming of Jesus Christ is meaningless brother, read your scriptures very well. Christ demonstrated that example through one of the thieves crucified with him, I repeat, your righteousness is a filthy rag bro, And these people that always attach salvation to their good works often look down on others and think that others would go to hell and only them would make heaven, a pure replica of the life of the Pharisees and the Saducees, Many prostitutes will make heaven where as those claiming to be better than everyone else would end up in hell

Brother the Bible is very plain concerning salvation, it's by faith alone and no works attached, That's it and that's what many self righteous people refused to grasp, Your works is like a filthy rag brother, your works can only earn you some rewards in heaven since rewards varies, but salvation is purely by faith and no works attached, anyone who is attaching works to his salvation will continue to stumble upon that stone, says the scripture, by faith brother and not by works

1. Jesus Christ explained that those who love Him are those who live their lives in continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments. He said those who belong to Him --- those who live by faith----live trusting and obeying His Truth - His teachings and commandments. ---- John 14 vs 15 - 20 & John 15 vs 7 - 11 & John 15 vs 14 . Now in the same context Jesus Christ explained that it is only those who obey Him that will do the good works that He did and even more than He did- John 14 vs 1 - 12. undecided

The same Jesus Christ also taught that when He returns and judges all those sheep and goats among them that He would judge their good works - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46.

So, I guess my question to you, or the question you need to ask yourself is simply. Do you trust Jesus Christ or do you instead trust your understanding? undecided

The very scripture you quoted made it clear that it's by believing in Him ( Faith) and not by your works, the reason he rebuked Nicodemus, who was so spiritually blind not to believe him. Well this is the puzzle of the scriptures, your works take you no where, it's by faith alone and not works,

You point is that, Jesus Christ hates some of the people his father loved?
Also, you are saying that the Father sent Jesus Christ to die for the world but be changed his mind and died only for a few people.
Very interesting.
So when Jesus said, I and my Father are one, you are saying that he did not really mean it like that.
Now, let's learn from the scripture.
John 1.29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

According to Jesus Christ, His friends are those who do what He says implying that those who do not do as He says are His enemies - John 15 vs 14 - and He spoke at length about having enemies.

Also, the same Jesus Christ also said the Father is greater than He, Jesus Christ, is, so, isn't it a leap to assume Jesus Christ must love all of those that the Father loves? Clearly, He tells you that His love is left only for those who obey His teachings and His commandments. So do you ignore the Truth as declared by Him so you can hold on to your ideas instead.. undecided

I never said God changed His mind since the world that God sent Jesus Christ to die for is the world that God loved ---- gave His agreement to ---- is Israel, the same world which He then sent Jesus Christ out to gather back to Him from every tribe, every tongue and every nation. The disciples are called fishers of men because their mission is to fish out the daughters and sons of Israel.from every nation out there in order to facilitate their return to Him at the end.. undecided

This also does not apply because if his Father loves everyone, and he commanded us to love everyone both friends and enemies, are you saying that he does not have the capacity to do what he expects of us.
Let me explain you view in 3 sentences

2. Jesus commanded us to love all like his Father.
3. Jesus does not have the ability to do was he teaches. He can't love all.

Learn from Christ.
Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Wrong! None of the scriptures I quote say it is simply by mentally acknowledging Jesus Christ —believing— that you are saved. That idea is not of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who instead told you, over and over, that only those who obey His teachings and commandments belong to Him, and are of HIm. undecided
15 “If you love me, you will do what I command.
16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to be with you forever.
17 The Helper is the Spirit of truth. The people of the world cannot accept him, because they don’t see him or know him. But you know him. He lives with you, and he will be in you.
18 “I will not leave you all alone like orphans. I will come back to you.
19 In a very short time the people in the world will not see me anymore. But you will see me. You will live because I live.
20 On that day you will know that I am in the Father. You will know that you are in me and I am in you.
21 Those who really love me are the ones who not only know my commands but also obey them. My Father will love such people, and I will love them. I will make myself known to them.”
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “Lord, how will you make yourself known to us, but not to the world?”
23
Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them.
24 But anyone who does not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not really mine. It is from my Father who sent me. - John 14 vs 15 - 24
