I eventually got a collection email few days back after visiting TLS again with the instruction letter from UKVI to release my passport.
UKVI gave me the most frustrating times of my life in 2022 both financially and emotionally. I lost 2 travel scholarships (Asia and Europe) because of their delay in returning my passport (over 4 months) for nothing. I realised that £55 payment VI is nothing but an offering. If not for the letter I took there physically, I doubt if I will ever get my passport back.

She already got Her COS and intends to travel with her hubby and the kid's same day becos maintainance was ticked by her sponsor, she's about applying for their Visa's,

The major question is regarding her children's birth certificate, she has all of her children's birth certificate from The hospital with accurate date of birth and the accurate date when the certificate was issued that same month becos she always collect her children's birth certificate latest two week's after delivery,

When she wanted to do her children's passport around November 2022, The Nigerian immigration services Said that NIN is now compulsory and the children's birth certificate is needed from NPC and not from the hospital they were delivered, they have to go and get The kid's birth certificate from NPC but the Major challenge is this, the NPC office wrote their dates and year of birth correctly but wrote date of issuance same Day they went there instead of the date of issuance in their original birth certificate from the hospital they were Born,

Right now,we heared that UK embassy only accepts birth certificate from NPC, that's national population commission, my question now is this,

1. I Hope the date of issuance Which bore year 2022 from NPC will not complicate things for Her and her family becos they have approached NPC office and they Said they can't back-date the date of issuance to the Year The kid's were Born, some of the kid's were Born in 2010, 2012, etc,

2. Pls can she attach her children's birth certificate from The hospital they were born with the One from NPC since the date of issuance from NPC is only showing year 2022 for all her kids but remember, everything about their date and Year of birth is correct both from the hospital and NPC, the only issue is date of issuance,

Finally pls those that has travelled with their kid's can Also shade More light on This,

There was a case here on this thread, submitted hospital BC , ukvi refused visa saying they dnt want that. They went got the NPC own and joined the hospital own as well as NPC own, the ECO on the second round saw only the same hospital own and denied again. On trying the 3rd time, with a long letter of explanation the ECO saw both BCs and visa was granted.
Another person mentioned on the student thread they acquired the birth certificates again asin same period of visa application following loss and visas were approved without NSF mail
Another person used new NPC birth certificates na so ECO say the children are not hers? Why are their births just been registered years after gbo gbo tigbo..
I feel you should attach both birth certificates and maybe court affidavits attesting to why this was done in 2022 and a letter of explanation just as you explained here and pray that the reviewer is in no rush at all.

The 2022 NPC will complicate the whole things and make the ECo to denied them. I have seen a lot of issued like this that ECO refused all the children because of the issued date on the NPC.

Your sister can do attestation of age with court affidavit or the best way is to go to local government around her to settle the scores ( do you decode what I mean ? ) Only legend can digest it.

Please don't submit 2022 NPC is automatic refusal. Very simple thing within twinkle eyes at the local government. If you are a Yoruba tell her to do ( sho wo kuduru )

Please is 2years standard visitor visa applied in the same way as 6months visa? What is done differently for the 2yrs visa?

No major difference. You simply apply for 2 years visa and pay more. Same documents required.

You can try schengen and leave UK alone for now if you had more than one refusal.

I think the Best thing is to follow a legal process like suggested by u and other's guys and swore an affidavit of age attestation from a court of competent jurisdiction and attach both her kid's birth certificate from The hospital and the one from NPC office, thanks.

Her fiancée was also on tier 2 and she added him as a dependent (unmarried partner)

They have not lived together for two years but stayed in the same apartment but different rooms in the Uk

She provided WhatsApp chat,pictures,Joint account,the former tenancy agreement of where they lived before and the current tenancy agreement of where they are living together now

Recently home office asked for additional evidence that the one she provided is not sufficient enough

Please she is yet to get a decision on her skilled worker route

Will this affect her own approval

@ GISELLE237, thanks for ur advice, they will provide both birth certificate And back it up with a sworn affidavit from a Court of competent jurisdiction.

We had the same issue. NPC could not backdate it. But we used it like that. We didn't attach the hospital own sha and the visa was granted. You can attach that of the hospital along side that of the NPC to be double sure.

This depends on what your daily activities will be like .
Minimum trip by uber is about 15£ while by bus is 1.65£ per trip

To be sincerely with you Nigeria doesn’t have database for Birth cert. what Eco want to confirm from NPC is the date of issued. I agreed that you have registered for one from NPC office before , but to be candy with you .Nigeria citizen can get birth cert as much as you want in Nigeria.

I remember when my wife changed birth cert of our kids due to different names she’s using on her credentials and passport, she went to local government of our new residential along with previous birth cert to issued new one correspondence with the previous issued date.

Nothing like NPC as documented and moved to Abuja, because Nigeria doesn’t have any data base for Citizen not to talk of birth cert.

but they knew the rules.. the relationship is not up to 2 years so why? Gather what can be gathered and send, they have already told you the risk of rejection stands high
