solreb:Tell that to Rhodes-Vivor Family, that their son is from Anambra. They have a retired judge who also hails from the family, they'd respond to you. Thank you. GRV we know in Alimosho, the real son of the soil. Watch out! |

babaolofin:The envious nature of you people is the reason you are being threatened by the igbos. Borrow a leaf from the British, today an Indian is the Prime Minister of Britain, some years back, an Islamic terrorists stabbed and shot people on the mall in UK, and some people wanted to retaliate on Muslims in UK, but a lot of British citizens demonstrated and told them to leave their muslim brothers and sisters alone that they love their diversity. This reasoning is the reason that UK is still striving and growing econimically strong. Lagos is truly blessed by God to somehow measure with London but you people's mentality of entitlement and claiming ownership will be the fall of Lagos in the near future just watch out and see. An Hausa man had been a Mayor in Enugu, the heart of igbo land and igbos didn't complain about it. shun all these tribal politics aside and be matured for once. The world has moved beyond tribe and ethnic politics, that's why a blace man could be the president of the most poweful nation in the world. And I remind you that Lagos is owned by the Binis and not Yorubas, so be careful and thread with caution |

Austindark:You want to try another party by voting someone who has shown open disdain from you and everything you represent? You can vote ADC candidate if you really want another party. At least the governorship candidate of ADC has loads of experience |

omohayek:you also don't hear igbos saying that. When you start hating igbos for living in lagos and not voting your party, you will definitely get a reaction. The fault lies entirely with yorubas, igbos are very large in abuja too and vote their party without harassment from abuja indigenes |

sammirano:ewu. Any Nigerian has the right to live and work in any part of Nigeria. Infact, any Nigerian citizen has the right to be governor of any state. I wu ode! They will divide and conquer you. It is the people against the government. My dear, I live in abia, am doing excellent. Should need be for me to come to Lagos, live, work or do business. The entire Lagos cannot stop me. Not even your criminal governor that has enslaved you mentally. Go out and see the world my friend. |

Diligent1:That is not the issue ..igbos don't have this kind if sentiment in there dna ...An igbo man can aspire to any political office in the east and any other part of Nigeria. The answer to your question is simple...she joined wrong party . Victor umeh was once in apga ...but immediately he joined Labour party ...he defeated same party holding him to ransome. That is the beauty of competition and choice ..assuming he remained in same party ...he will still be a failure ..the moral lesson is ...don't make excuse for your failure...be self aware ..I can bet you by the time the puppet governor in lagos is defeated on Saturday..lots of yorubas will regain there freedom ..you can even dream bigger dream of becoming the governor of any state inasmuch as you are in the right party . |

Egoat:Stop the cap. You could not have voted for Obi and in your post use a derogatory term to tag igbos as Shukudi or Okoro. Even if you did vote obi and in less than 1 month regret, its safe to say you do not have a momd of your own and you should be wiped off the surface of the earth. |

timisquare82:nobody is saying it. You are the one saying it because you want yorubas to ronu. Which prominent igboman has called lagos no man's land? None. The igbos also do the same thing they do in lagos in abuja without harassment. Why are yoruba own always different. In sabon gari in kano Igbo dominate without threats from kano people and they vote who they want without being threatened with lagoon |

AdaojoTheUrchin:Thank goodness he did all these in just one week. What did Peter Obi do for the people of anambra in 4 years. - he increased tuition fees by more than 50% - state university staff union went on strike for 6 months - state medical doctors when on strike for more than a yr - hide state money in Panama haven - no local government election - he was eventually impeached and kicked out like polio. |

sammirano:When I read some people's comment, I can't but wonder how they reason and it won't be surprising if they have a toxic personality. If these Ibos you so much disregard leave your precious land, you will then see your unclothedness and how weighty their investments are in this state. We claim to be progressives yet our actions speaks otherwise. We are no better than the Russians who instead of dialogue, invaded a neighbor just because of their insecurity and perceived invincibility. Was it the Igbos fault that successive APC administrations we've had in Lagos have looted our common wealth. Don't the Igbos pay their taxes? Does the constitution of the Republic regard them as second class citizens? For the past 20years that the yorubas have been Ruling in Lagos, have they been able to transform it into Dubai or take it to the level of a true modern megacity? The same party that you and your kind voted for in 2015 and 2019 have brought untold suffering to everyone in this country, regardless of tribe, region or religion. it's the same way that the average yoruba, ibo, hausa, fulani, ijaw, isthekiri, ijaw, edo, tiv, idoma complains and prays to see a better nigeria because we are Nigerians, or do you think suffering and poverty shows partiality when it comes to tribes? The bad leaders that we have had in this country, are they restricted to only one tribe? How many of the yorubas leaders we currently have can you boast of as a person of integrity? Do you really think they care about you, or their own purse? Do their children attend thesame universities as your own, or your siblings? Yet you will come out on this same platform, and when offline, open your stinky mouth to complain about bad leadership and government in your precious state. You |

How many other tribes owns property in south east. Indian became PM of UK, because he respects and abide by the law governing UK not with mentality or norms of Indian or let's take UK from British. |

[quote author=Egoat post=121571405]Sponsored post indeed. I'm one of those who regretted voting for Obi. I regret it every single day that passes by. Statements like, 1) Igbos were the ones that voted him in Lagos. 2) we've proved that Lagos is a no man's land. 3) Yorubas are tribalists for voting Tinubu over Obi while Igbos are sensible for giving their own bloc votes. I've read and heard enough of these stupid talks. There is no room for Shukudis in Lagos State. Whatever point they want to make should be made with Biafra. GRV is a dead ambition, you can't insult my tribe, insult my pastor, turn your back at your own people because you were trying to impress the Okoros and now all of a sudden you've found your voice. Go to Anambla and contest, Lagos isn't for salesale, it's for yoruba propers. [/quote Cry me a River.... Eluu p from top to bottom. |

Bede2u:And im sure yorubas didnt vote for her in large numbers. LP did. Yorubas did not transfer their PVC to Abuja in droves to ensure she wins. Yorubas in Abuja never called Abuja No-mans land. How many yorubas live there sef? More importantly Ireti Kingibe NEVER made tweets referring to gwari or hausa people with tribal slurs and expect to be given a leadership position. |
